Out of reach folders

Hinderer XM-24
Custom Emerson CQC-6, Commader, Or cqc-8
MSC or DDC Strider, anything except a PT

A one of a kind Chainsaw. Blade, bolsters and pocket clip are forged steel chain. Handles are mammoth tusks and an ivory stand offs.

that is the most beautiful knife I have ever seen, do u own it or is it out of reach, either way, my mind is blown, that is an amazing blend of traditional type materials, well sort of, and modern look, who made this wonder?

He, he, nice thread.
For me it would be either a Dmitri Sinkevich Concept:
Sidis7.jpg

or an Arpad Bojtos folder, possibly this one:
44_athena.jpg

but any folder (or knife) from Arpad Bojtos would do.

I have always wanted a Michael Raymond Estrella, Scott Cook Lochsa, and another that is not quite as far out of reach is a Laconico Slim EDC. All are clean, simple, and beautiful.

Some of these knives in this thread are the ugliest creations I have ever laid eyes on! (no offense folks).

I've always wanted to get a large Sebenza, just to try it out. Probably won't ever get one just because of the price tag, despite how tempting they are.

We share very similar tastes in knife design.

3migo, you must be very young. Save a little money here and there and, when you can afford to splurge, buy a used one on the exchange for 300 or so. It will last a lifetime. I was 62 before I bought my first Sebenza. It will definitely last MY lifetime :)

I've got the money, so it isn't so much a question of not being able to afford it, it's more a question of is it worth it. I've got my share of nice knives, but every time I look at buying a Sebenza, it just becomes difficult to spend that much on a single blade. Who knows, maybe someday my curiosity will finally get the best of me.

That is a greg lightfoot. He is known more for tactical knives. This is one of the rare examples where he blends 1 part tactical 1 part traditional materials and 2 parts art.
