Out of reach folders

A damascus sebenza with mammoth bark ivory. It exists, but I don't think I'll ever be able to justify spending that type money on a knife.

Absolutely gorgeous, what's it called?
And yes it counts

Sorry for the slow response, I missed this post somehow :o

That is a Lockback Whittler made by Tony Bose.
Case produced a very small run of these in jigged bone and stag (with a Clip main blade) back in 2005 as part of an annual collaboration with Tony Bose that has been going since 1999 . I'm waiting to see the right one in Stag come available, that will be as close as I can get to the real deal.

thats all right, btw that is one buetiful recurve 3rd blade, does he do any modern folders, or just high quality traditionals?

That's an easy one for me.. Jake Hoback Warhorse Dark. I have saved this pic from BF ever since I first saw it !

Tony Bose is considered by many to be THE reference for modern traditional handmade "custom" pocket knives.
As far as I know, that and a few fixed blades are all he makes.

after seeing some of jen anso's work at blade I wish I could get my hands on a zero from him I think Id be prepared to drop the cash on it but just finding 1 is a nightmare

Out of anything I actually want, a Rockstead TEI (TEI S DLC specifically)... It has been a grail of sorts for me for years.

Regular TEI:

At this point, ANY Rockstead folder would make me happy!

I´m not on such a high level than you guys... for me the out of reach folders are CRK Knives in general. Just too much money but incredible great looking knives.
