It looks like the ergonomics will be similar to using the PM2 with the choil.
I don't like the Miltarys because of the short blade to handle ratio.
Also I never use or need a lanyard hole. I don't know why they just don't remove that and make a balanced knife. Look at Shiros design.. they have a lot of cutting surface to gip ratio.
Also I won't own a knife with a finger choil. So my hope is that makers get with a good design (like the Shiros) and get as much blade out of the handle package. After all, isn't that why we carry folders instead of fixed blades?
Plenty of people have different needs for different knives. This one clearly isn't for you, why not just move along? Thanks man! Some people here have no concept of a knife with blade to handle ratio because they never have owned one.
It makes no sense to have a long grip and short blade. To me that defeats the pupose of a "pocket" knife. One should want the most cutting length into a small package.
I can't find anything that I don't like about the PM2. But having a smaller design would be perfect for the times when you just want to drop it into a pocket without the loss of much pocket real estate.
I have enough s30v steel for a couple of life times, so I'll wait until the PM3 is offered in other blade steel options.

Spyderco does a really good S30V, but I would have preferred to see the first Para3 come out in something a step up. Maxamet, S110V or XHP would have been a little more interesting place to start, just like the police 4 base is going to be K390...
Another steel and I'm in.
Any rumblings anywhere about the release/sales of the PARA3. December has about 12 calendar days left.
From the feedback, I wonder if XHP or even S35VN would've driven more sales from the get go?
I'll be buying one regardless of the plain old S30v, BTW![]()
Sal said that they were coming off the lines a couple days ago, and that it might take a bit to fill all the orders.
