Just got back. Nice weekend away. Lucked out on the septic. Last time we were there, we poured antifreeze in the toilet, so obviously it wouldn't freeze. Now, this past weekend, two months later, all the water and antifreeze had seeped down. I looked down the pipe, and there was a wad a shit paper down there, stuck in the bend. Long story short, I got it free, and it wasn't the septic backed up at all. What a relief that was, literally, haha.

Some "new" steel. A Gerber I bought off KingMC, and a Condor Tanker gifted to me. The Gerber is a hell of a chopper, and the notch made short work of some small branches. Should come in handy clearing brush. I made a feather with the Condor, but it wasn't a great stick to use, so it wasn't photo worthy, haha. Cool little blade:

Yeah, it's raining and cold today, as well as the start of the final week of the fiscal year so all sorts of weird stuff seems to happen. Fit in a ride in the sun yesterday knowing I wouldn't want to commute in the rain scheduled for most of this week.

My baby Lycan is 8 weeks old today and home at last!

Just had his ear crop surgery yesterday. Have to wait until stitches are removed to post them for them to stand. But he is happy and playing like it never happened.

Bearing sad news, some surely already know, Robert "StropMan" passed away on the 18th of this month. His business will close permanently. I heard through my fb feed, here is a copy of their post.

What a shitty week. Monday i felt and heard a pop in my knee... Then lots of pain and I couldn't move it. It was stuck in a 90% bend. Yesterday i had knee surgery. They had to repair the miniscus it was completely torn, and then stitch it back in place... Now I can't bear any weight on it for 6 weeks...

Get home from the hospital, same day I had surgery, just to get a call that my grandfather passed away. We thought he had at least a few more months in him.

They say bad things come in 3s, but I wish that wasn't true, cause I don't think I can take another after this 1 and 2.

Figures....

Spent all day in the hospital... Because of the surgery, and the mandated rest afterwards, I have developed a DVT blood clot in my leg.

Now for the next 2 weeks I have to inject myself twice a day with a blood thinner. And I hate needles.


Maybe I'll have some good luck now?? A man can dream!

God I hope so... I'm only 34 years old but I feel 75.
