Would love to see the sandblasted one compared to the parkerized one! If the parkerized one looks good, I may send some of my bigger choppers off for a park finish too!

Dex has been kind of off line for a while, busy with life. I told him the same as I told you, do it on whatever pace suits you.

As soon as I get the parkerized 6 back I'll be doing some comparisons of original, sandlasted and parkerized and will post all that up when the time comes.

Thanks again for the beautiful blast and sharpening job Jonny. To have a blade as big as the 6 be scary sticky sharp is amazing.

Seriously, tho. It's a fun weekend, with great folks - and I'll let you try out my RBK, if you want. At the last Gathering Ethan and Ka-Bar sent us a 21 for a contest prize, so...you never know. Someone showed up at the Fall Gathering without an RBK - but went home with one.
 
What a shitty week. Monday i felt and heard a pop in my knee... Then lots of pain and I couldn't move it. It was stuck in a 90% bend. Yesterday i had knee surgery. They had to repair the miniscus it was completely torn, and then stitch it back in place... Now I can't bear any weight on it for 6 weeks...

Get home from the hospital, same day I had surgery, just to get a call that my grandfather passed away. We thought he had at least a few more months in him.

They say bad things come in 3s, but I wish that wasn't true, cause I don't think I can take another after this 1 and 2.

Have only been to the cabin once in the last 4 months. Heading there tonight for the weekend. Supposed to rain, but, oh well.

That's the plan, haha. Remember that the septic is backed up. We're gonna crap in a 5 gallon bucket with kitty litter in it. Never shit in a 5 gallon bucket before. :poop: :D

Damm sorry to hear of loss and about your knee. Hope you start haveing better luck.
