Paul / CPE at Forged in Fire on May 4th

Hey Paul, start to finish - how long would you say you were actually on set?
I can't really say how long I personally was on set without giving away some big spoilers but they tell you to be ready for 12-14 hour days depending on how far you make it. They do feed you good and provide all the snacks, drinks and coffee you could want.

The timer and things you see on the show while the knives are being built is 100% legitimate. When they say 3 hours to build the knives they mean it. That clock starts just like you see it and it doesn't stop for anything. When its over and they say set the knives down that is all just how it goes. The testing and all that stuff is just like they show it too, everything is fair and they really go at it. There are a bunch of other things though like all the interviews where you see the guys sitting talking to the camera, the walk ins, talking to the judges and time while they set up the test stuff that make up all the other time.

Here's the description of the May 4th episode posted on Xfinity:

Double Trouble Knives:

Four bladesmiths face double the trouble when they are tasked with forging not one, but two canister Damascus knives; after a brutal round of testing, only two smiths move forward to build an extremely challenging Cinquedea sword.

Looks familiar. Didn't they use this or another sword that looks like it in an episode before?

They have done the cinqueda regular a bunch of times. This is the cinqueda sword. The scale is much larger.

I read thread title as "Paul died at Forged in Fire on May 4th" and I was like "Jeez... ya must not have cared for Paul"
🤣

If I can't watch this, will there be a place to watch later? Will this go on Netflix (I know they have other seasons) or be available on YouTube? I would love to see it.
