They were paying forward knowledge to me on the subject of computers, in order for me to keep buying knives and surfing BF while not at my desktop.

I like "karmically" and will plagiarize it shamelessly without giving you credit going forward.
And agreed, Raindog is first in line whether he likes it or not. Great pics btw
It's at the point where a reminder needs to be given as to the purpose of this thread and what forum it is in. This is the General KNIFE discussion forum. The off-topic chatter needs to be kept to a minimum. If you want to discuss computer repair/issues, we have a Gadgets and Gear forum that is better suited for that discussion.
OK, OK, you guys win. I'll find something to post up tomorrow. Sorry Chewy, but I'll send it along to ya if it's not my thing.
I knew that would get a response from the "eye in the sky".
anyhoo, I have some Becker handles to pay forward, from a BK7, that were media-blasted to be more grippy. They're now more grayish than black, and have been rattling around in the "extras" box for a while. The texturing is very subtle, not like stippling, but still much more grippy than the factory smooth finish. I can take a picture if anyone's interested, I'm just feeling a little lazy right now. I'll post more stuff up later today.
Still on the factory grivory though? I have a BK5 I use in the kitchen and I hate the stock handles when they get wet, but I don't want to shell out for micarta when it will just absorb meat juice and things like that.

Yeah, it's factory grivory, but as Jerry D pointed out, the blasted handles give a nice solid grip without being rough. It's not as aggressive as stippling, but works just fine. The only thing someone might not like about them is the color, which is now more grayish than black. I think it's kinda cool, but maybe not everyone thinks like I do (god I hope not)
I've Been on the quest for thick sheets of (orange) polyethylene that someone skilled in the Becker handles can cut for me.
I found one supplier once but then forgot about it.
Hey, Whetstone, you now have to pay forward a new word.(Preferably knife-related)
