I realize I gave my opinion and really didn't answer your question. I'd say the only way to get the black to stick well, would be to have it beadblasted and either powder coated or cerakoted/duracoated or something of the like.

Well, it is actually a topic for a new thread I'd say, but...

Looks well used and taken care of, not terribly abused.
If it were mine, I'd carry it and use it as is. It has obviously earned that wear and looks better for it.

True, I'm actually hesitant to touch it because I cut myself badly with it. My boyfriend keeps his knives sharp like nobodies business and I'm kinda bad at handling them and ended up slicing some skin off. But I am looking for something bigger, possibly a machete for camping purposes. Got any suggestions?

A good Becker is fairly cheap and very tough.

That would be my recommendation, maybe a BK9

Just remember that the blade pops out with some force when you pull back on the little locks :) Keep you your hands and feet clear of moving parts while playing with the Benchmade Auto knives :D

I have to hold it with two hands or else itll fly out and try to stab me in the feet. I've had two close calls with that haha. It's the only auto knife I have. The other one is a fixed blade.

1.Does anyone want or need my extra Kershaw tool? T6 T8 and the phillips inside the keychain.
2.I also have a bag of spare knife parts, benchmade clip a few low riders, spyderco body screws And a bunch of other random parts...

I will take a low rider clip. If its for a Benchmade...

I'll call dibs on that Kershaw Tool, if that's cool

The kershaw tool is self explanatory for someone that does not have those bits.

As for the parts. No blur parts. Plus most parts are easy to come by these days. The benchmade clip is just a standard clip. The screws go to the para mili tenacious, the low riders and other parts are just random and maybe an 0350 pivot in there and a teflon washer. I just dont need all this crap. That the Best I can say. They go as a whole.

If I can, I will take the whole lot of parts and post back up whatever I don't use.

Edit: On second thought, I will leave this out there in case someone needs the parts. I remember someone writting something about parts for a knife. If no one claims it by tomorrow, I will jump on it. If thats okay.

Sure its a bag of randoms, Whoever wants it by tomm evening, including urself. Just post with a quote. And hopefully u will take the K tool as well, ive got 4 packages going out tomm already LOL. Just let me know guys, no hurry. More to come

If anyone has spare Kershaw Leek scales/handles/clip, or a spare parts Leek with maybe a broken blade but the handle is fine, please let me know. I gave a Leek to my stepfather after refurbishing it, but someone went crazy with an engraver and did an awful number on the front scale and the clip.

Ah.... this is what I was refering too.

Totally don't mean to come off rude, buddy. But post #1230 was me calling dibs on the Kershaw tool. Just wanted to bring it to your attention in case you missed it.
