I still have some items to send as well, have been wondering what the shelf life would be on this since the beginning. Hoping this isn't the end
 
We need to get some new people involved otherwise the well runs dry. Does anyone think that restarting the thread helps with this at all. It certainly has seemed to in the past. I know when I see some super long threads I just "forget it" because it seems like its too hard to break into the convo at that point. I'd vote for starting a new one if loose ends are pretty much tied up here.

I'd vote for starting a new thread if things stagnate here for a while. Pretty sure i wouldn't read through 1,300 posts to catch up on a thread ;). The snark threads are a little like that for me, i follow them for a minute and then lose track. Or has this run its course? Not really sure

I think there's a basic difference between this thread and the snarks and "what traditional are ya totin?" threads. You don't have to really follow those threads. You can just jump in whenever and you dont feel like you have to know whats going on.

These PIF threads, though, make you think you need to know whats going on and when they get too long they can become sort of cliquish with just the dedicated few being involved.

I bet if you started a new one, maybe with some sort of push to get new folks in, things would get going and fast.

Still thinking about the best way to attract new people in. Any bright ideas?
 
I think the concept still has legs, in fact, I think it would be a good long standing thing. Like anything with people involved, it will ebb and flow.

I'd be happy to start the next thread, been in here since the first REMAKE, unless y'all think someone else should start it, which is fine by me. Or maybe we can enlist some BF Celebrity to start it to really draw folks in?

I hope it is around for a long time, it is certainly fun to participate in it. I was thinking it might slow way down around the holidays, and rightfully so.

I am fine with you starting the next one, or enlisting a heavy hitter from the forums. Would not feel right about it until Cereal_killer weighed in of course

Thanks Whet- yeah I'd say wait till CK and more people have a chance to weigh in. It's always possible that the whole world just slowed down for the past 8 hours. Seems that way anyways.

Feels like things are slowing down, I wouldn't say no to a new thread. I didn't jump into the PIF threads until there was a new thread.
