Now that all my give items have shipped including your parts (doglover).

I have a Master Mechanic Multi tool pliers, with sheath available. Large needle style with wire cutter. Every bit as good as a stanly, the poor mans leatherman. Not sure if I posted it already.
Has many tool main blade are a plain edge and an awesome saw tooth that will hack through an inch of wood in seconds.

If you dont have a multi tool and would carry one in a sheath, this is a great one to start,
I carried it for over a year like I said and it never failed me, Just a touch of surface stain here and there.

You ever feel like a certain knife is calling your name more so than others?

For some reason, I feel like my old Caly 3.5 is calling out to me from wherever it is now.

Yeah I always hear my old Benchie AFCK calling out to me. I foolish sold her so many years ago. She still cries out for me though...

Woah woah, you are really gonna buy one brand new? Thank you so much!
And I think I will go with the Kershaw Chill.
I'll send you my address too.
Thanks again!

Yeah, I don't have any more knives to give. But I'm happy to start someone's Kershaw addiction! Kershaw Chill would have been my choice too.

I don't normally ask for things on here but, does anyone have a cheaper Kershaw, Sog, or Byrd for my other buddy? He is getting into knives and he would love one from a good company. He currently carries a cheap knife from home depot lol

The rear screw is actually a great idea, I was going to use those "push-in threaded inserts" (like pictured in NCCOLE's milli tip-up conversion thread) I just got from fastenal with one of the extra regular style take-off clips I have on hand but I like the wire clip's and if I could find a way to incorporate that it sounds like a winner.

Definitely let me know if it works, i would love to add a pocket clip to this knife

Maybe your buddy should come join the site and look around for one.. bet he would like it

Are those assisted or just flippers?

Basically they're "dumbed-down" versions of the original models. These are manual flippers that are all blacked out, as opposed to the Speedsafe-equipped/stonewashed models Kershaw sells separately. I should point out that the wal-mart versions sport blades made of 3Cr13MoV instead of the usual 8Cr

I wish I could help you with that Spring. But the only Kershaw I own now is the Cryo. And for now, I have a death grip on it :D But I saw this on the Exchange:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1128740-FS-Two-new-Kershaws-35-shipped

Also I think I read that Wally world has a two Kershaw knife bundle for some really low price, like 2000 pennies low.
Yeah, I love the Cryo, its an amazing knife for the price. I did see that in the exchange as well, but I am broke after my last knife purchase (got my grail, a Para 2 :D )

I may have to take a trip to Wally world... oh wait... I hear my wife yelling at me already and she's not even here! Maybe I better re-think that idea
