I vote KaBar or Cold Steel.

Carbon steel over stainless in my book.
 
I'll jump in the mix and throw in an Knives of Alaska featherlight hunter. Carbon fiber scales, D2 blade. Has only been used to cut little bit of paper. I cannot get the damn thing sharp. So the only rule is if you can get it sharp you have to post here so you can tell me how the hell you did it. :D

Your knife sounds cool. I'd try to sharpen it but can't promise it, I've never had a D2 blade. ;)

Whetstone, all of those knives sound cool. A Buck BNIB would be nice but then, I've also never had a CS fixed blade, that could be interesting too. Truth be told all 4 of those, (Heck, for me even the Gerber) sound kinda cool. I think you'd get whichever one snapped up.

If it's available I'd love to claim it. Always wanted a Knives of Alaska knife.

It's yours man. I guess send me your address and I'll get it out Thurs. or Fri.

D2 isn't hard to sharpen. I can shave with my mini Bone Collector. This knife and my dads $8 gas station special are the only 2 knives I've met that I can't get crazy sharp.

Nah man you can totally have it, like I said I have no experience with D2, no guarantee I'd be able to get it sharp.

I'll message you later but it's totally cool if dynamicmoves wants it. I like nice fixed blades and have a few but I don't get a chance to use them a ton..
 
Aw man, late to the party again. The KOA Featherlight is literally the only one in my wishlist because it has the potential to knock my Opinel out of EDC.

I believe it's a folder. I would like it if you're cool with it (and wheeler is) but you did claim it first.
 
Just looked at it, you're right it is a folder (seems kinda pricey too so I probably jump on it) but if he's cool giving it to you, you should have it.

It's a folder not a fixed blade. It's yours if you want it. If not it'll go to dynamicmoves.
