I think most are feeling this way. I know I've been frustrated time and time again trying to claim an item and missing out due to somebody claiming their 4th or 5th item, or claiming it for their roomate's brother's friend who "really needs a knife". For what it's worth I've pif'd 3x and haven't been able to claim squat.

Im thankful I at least got the chive, its all I wanted. Ive also PIF about 5x so far myself. Some people have just slacked and asked!. I might put up a well used SHARPMAKER if my pal does not need it.

Hi folks remember its a pif if you can. Some people don't have anything to give. I've pif'd multiple times and the one Pif I received I re-pifd's it to other members of the board and absorbed the shipping. Spirit of the thread is to give if you can. Sorry to hear that you haven't been able to pick up or try something new from the thread though. I was able to check out a delica and a sodbuster before sending them on their way.

@NalOn

He does! He also said to tell you both "thank u very much!"

Glad to see zapphappy is still gonna get one. Awesome how this worked out

(No idea why the quote didn't work)

Gonna go ahead n PIF another blade....
Not the greatest dagger ever, but does have AUS8 steel, which is decent. Hope someone can use it :)

I like it and do need a fixed blade for utility and prying. If someone else wants it by the end of the day and they want a dagger style, they can have it.
Not sure if that is EDC friendly for utility tasks.

How long is that cool looking daggy? I will say United does make decent fixed blades for sure and the heat treat has been good in my experience. Ive seen alot of them back in the day.

Ive waited long enough! Email en route!

If its not for it goes back up, but I think it would be a great utility knife and it has two edge for when i dull one of em!

@ 30ZappHappy30:
The Opinel is on its way, including a small "bonus" because you had to wait longer for one ;)
Should arrive at your box in 6-8 business days they said.

Sent you tracking details via mail too.

Edit: Just finished looking around, that is all the spare Opinels for now ... I think I might have something interesting for the beginning of the new year though ;)

Man, this slowed down. Guess it's to be expected, people are giving in person right now. I should have something up in... Some amount of time. Actually I have no planned time frame, just plan to give something as soon as something is available.

Good point haha. I'll be sure to get something up early next year. Had to sell off a few just to make ends meet this month. Oh well, such is life! You guys are all awesome for keeping the spirit moving

I haven't been on Bladeforums at all lately. I just got my first gun, and all of my attention is invested in that. One expensive hobby to another...ugh.

Congratulations (condolensces?) Nopyo on your first firearm. That will take you down a long expensive road. But it is fun. Knives are MORE fun imo ;)

I'm an enthusiast of knives and firearms, but I find myself more comfortable in this forum for some reason...

Because this forum attracts better denizens and elicits more germane discussions? It is why i am here anyway :)
