Same here...matter of fact, can't tell you the last time I visited a gun forum (only one I ever registered on was specifically about my tupperware guns).

Agreed. I browse a few forums related to my specific platforms, but I hardly ever post after seeing some of the responses new posters receive.

And, on a PIF-related note, I received the Peasant sheath, Ryan. However, I'm afraid I've decided to move towards modding my Peasant to a fixed blade. Therefore, I think my sheath needs will be a bit different. I'd like to offer up this cool little sheath to someone else who has a Svord peasant. I don't have an in-hand photo of it, but one could probably go back a bit and find the pictures that Lemepris posted of these some pages back.

Just wanted to say that my dealer seems to have been right about price increase- for some reason I just went on Spyderco website to see specs of Endura and compare the price to Delica, and noticed that MSRP for Endura is now 115$. :eek: And it's not only MSRP, I remember him saying dealers' prices were also to increase so they had to raise them regardless.

I know for a fact lots of spyderco's just went up in price right here in the US. The Caly 3.5 CF/ZDP-189 was to be my next purchase, since I've wanted one (for months now) its been $140, just yesterday I went to my preferred dealer (BladeHQ) and was shocked to see they raised the knife to $178, I checked other dealers, even amazon and they all had similar price hikes.

Looks like spyderco took the opertunity to raise their street prices under the radar while everyone was freaking out about Benchmade's MAP policies...

I haven't had an opinel in a loooong time (I was a teen), so I don't know if that discounts me or not. But if nobody else claims it, I'd love to put one back in my kit. And BTW, I still have that Svord Peasant sheath up for grabs! If I get lazy, I might even put the Peasant in there too!
