Be careful guys i literally just got a warning for saying i got those coupons from cereal. It was called deal spotting even though i never mentioned any item for sell there. So be real careful what you say.

Never understood the deal spotting rule.


I might have some new things to post this week. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have it all figured out.

Yes really. I asked for further clarification because i dont see how me saying thank you for coupons was deal spotting. Unless we are not aloud to even mention companies or stores that are not paying bladeforums, then i understand, but if thats it, its a silly rule in my eyes... But i just play here so i guess i have to follow the rules no matter how silly i think they might be.

Well I think that is the case. I've seen people constantly dance around certain sites named after a river and "that auction site". Seems a bit extreme but at least it was only a warning.
 
Right now I'm using a 3x21 hand belt sander viced upright for my grinding. I think I'll give that one a look. Ha
 
These "pay it forward" threads are pretty cool but they are not going to turn in to generic chat threads or twitter feeds. These threads are in the General KNIFE discussion forum and need to stay reasonably on topic or they will be shut down.

Something really cool just happened and I think karma played a part...I just won a GAW in the traditional forum from guy named Klineh, thanks again Jon! I won first choice via random number generator and I used my choice spot to win an opinel pearing knife which will be my first non-generic kitchen knife, pretty stoked about that, I've literally never won a GAW before even tho my wife does all the freakin time, perhaps some of us should buy some lottery tickets next time the jackpot is really big lol.

This is the only thread I really go to and thoroughly enjoy the "company" of the people ive met here as well as the vastly off-topic discussions we have gotten into? And we always bring it back to center. But maybe this thread would be more at home under the community label?

I also feel like it Should be a community thread as well and then we can chat freely as the the community that we've come to be such a growing part of, no?

It seems to me Also that charity should be a community event.
 
Well, we are getting closer too 1000. Would *who-was-it?* want to start a new thread in community with a link back to here? Just an idea.

OT:

Took the JYD out for a carry today. It has performed extremely well and I will continue to EDC it for at least a couple weeks. I'm surprised by how functional the clip has been for me. Didn't expect that. Thanks again WW!
 
I haven't been in on this recently, but am glad to see things still going alone smoothly. I'm gonna go through my drawer and see what I can throw on here in the next day or two. Keep it going, guys/gals!

Same thing happened to me. But I was worse--I mentioned a product.
