Simple Man - The flashlights arrived safe and sound. I put the brighter one in my wife's purse. She was pretty excited. Thanks again.

Sounds good Morrow.

I agree we could cut down on some chatter somewhat. Like another member mentioned it was getting hard to sift through the actual PIF's. Let's just try to keep the non knife related talk down some.
 
Just because we give away knives doesn't make it knife related ;) but yes sir.

As a reminder, I still have a pair of soccer cleats offered up.
 
I am interested in the Leek and posted a couple of times but havent heard back from you! Is it still available? Thx. :D

The first, a Spyderco Persistence, is the first knife I ever tried and it turned out pretty good. I was not happy with how the pivot area turned out as I didn't sufficiently protect the track of the detente ball. You can feel a slight bump when opening but it isn't that bad at all. I tried smoothing it out and you can see that. It is however a perfectly capable knife and is very sharp.





The second is a Kershaw Leek I obtained in a trade. It turned out very good. There is a slight re-curve to the blade from being sharpened so much (I think the Leek is from '08) but there is a lot of life left. I removed the safety and don't plan on putting it back, but if I can find it I will send it along with the knife.

It's not available, it was claimed... and beyond that (sir_mike), you're sort of turning into one of those cases of claiming a ton and not offering much. Just my impression from being here for all of the PIF threads, though. Not trying to be rude, but I can't sit back while I see things like this happen. Please correct me if I am wrong... my apologies if so.

Just as an aside, I still have a Gerber Ridge up for grabs.

I also have a Winchester multitool and folding knife up for grabs as a set. Great for a vehicle or bug out bag. Smooth as butter folding knife...very impressed with the quality for a Winchester set.

Those Winchester multi-tools are surprisingly tough. We had them issued to all of our vehicle emergency response kits that stay in the vehicle. Not claiming it, just agreeing with you NY on the quality :thumbup:
 
Really? I put up four items and only received two items. I had a couple other items claimed but never showed up so I was looking for this Leek to replace the Cyro that didnt make it so dont tell me that I am claiming a ton of stuff. Are you still pissed that you lost out on the fixed blade?? Get over it!

If anything else shows up that I did put a claim on, which it only three items total due in, then if I dont decide to use it, it will be given back to the forum. If I decide to use it, them my current item or two will be put up if the PIF forum as I replaced it.

Also, I didnt see any reply to my request and that is why I asked again. If it was spoken for, that is great and I wanted to ask for it so if someone else wanted it, then they can have it. :)

Maybe post it up again? I think that if anyone has anything still up for grabs, they should post it again to remind all and let anyone new know about it.

I have some gear I need to go through and see what else I can post up here hopefully tonight or tomorrow.
