One of the very few things I dislike about living in East TN is that there's no rye bread to be found in the "normal" grocery stores. No regular rye, no light, no dark, no swirl, no carraway, nothing. Just plain old boring white and wheat breads.
It's a cryin' shame.
anyone doing anything exciting this weekend?
This weekend is my 6 year wedding anniversary. Our plan was to spend the weekend at the lake where my mother-in-law was gonna watch our kids while we went out to dinner. Its calling for severe tstorms all weekend so we called it off. Now we are without a sitter. So either we take them with us or celebrate another time.
I did manage to pay for these.

Why am I getting the feeling that tradewater puts the "nut" in nutella?

WTF - What's with the 1.66 YARDS and 2.33 YARDS??? What's wrong with the standard 5 feet by 7 feet or 60 inches by 84 inches???? That's what they put on the pouches. Nobody except American football measures things in yards.
Those little tarps are the bomb. If you girth hitch a loop of bungee cord in the grommets for tie-outs, they can take some pretty good wind too.

tradewater can flip a snake 27 yards.
When I was talking to the former owner of the cabin, he said a guy could sell the granite on the land, and pay for the cabin. Is granite worth that much? There's granite there that has a pinkish color to it.

Sounds like the perfect excuse for buying a bread making machine and experimenting with interwebz rye bread recipes.

Quoted for truth. I did this to my wife once, and weathered a twister....
That is a cryin' shame! There should be a law requiring more diversity in bread... We mostly eat Milton's multi-grain bread from Sam's Club, but usually have 3 or 4 different varieties of bread floating around the kitchen.
Mow the lawn, mow around the north gate in the pasture, clean out an area at the edge of the yard for my wife to put in a chicken coop. I'll be using a new toy to clean out the brush and other stuff.
Bread machines make terrible bread in my opinion. The loaves are too weirdly shaped. I started just using mine to make the dough and then put them in loaf pans in the over to bake. Then I bought a Kitchenaid stand mixer with dough hook, and that works fabulously!
Your wife has grommets? Or do I misunderstand?
