Happy Friday is right! At least the end of my day is awesome! Work was all sorts of hell today but I got to come home to a 5.11 rush moab 10 and applied my Becker patches to it. Pictures will come later. While playing around with the molle attachments and found out I can attach my shotgun scabbard to it. With a fully loaded shotgun on the bag and all my gear it carried (around the house) very comfortably. Then I got yelled at to put it away :P so I took off the shotgun and started to get a feel for it. I like it

slap that shotgun back on, or else how are you gonna cope with TEOTWAWKI??? you will be off-balance.

I ordered up some of that Sawyer permethrin spray stuff... Been reading up on it... And then the 24 ounce bottle went on sale for 8 bucks.... Even cheaper than the 12 ounce bottle.... so i grabbed it.

Plan to treat my hammock with it. I read all about the spray VS soak methods and everything and i think the soak method (MAY) be more efficient at not wasting the stuff but at 8 bucks its not that serious if some of the spray is wasted... And 24 ounce is probably more than i need for the hammock anyways. Says it will treat up to 4 COMPLETE outfits... I just need it for 1 hammock LOL

I see some places are selling the hammocks already treated, including the place where i bought mine... But it would of been like 20 bucks more expensive to get it already treated. Ill do it myself and save 12 bucks LOL

Love that pack. Made in the US with US-made ballistic nylon and US-made Cordura.

A solid rig.

I've got one that's a few years old and it's just starting to show any wear. Great for cragging and daily use.

I've used that pack and the Organic Artist tote for short business trips

I'm toast. Woke up, had my normal oatmeal and peanut butter :p, painted the cornhole boards, crushed 100 pushups, knocked out an hour yoga class, bouldered for an hour, ran two miles, lunched, hit the lake for some standup paddle boarding, crashed Subway and then Dunkin' Donuts, and then ran two more miles this evening. Tomorrow? Birthday party with ten-year olds. Hell, I should have slept all day today in preparation.

That pack is made in Philipsburg PA... Ill be going right past there in a couple weeks when i head up to Peter's Heat Treat.

The birthday party with ten-year olds sounds like the single most taxing item on the list.

Wow! When do you find time to work? Ah yes, 10 year olds....no wonder you're working out. Be careful tomorrow.

I bought a bottle of that when I took the boys on their first overnight at the beginning of summer. The place we stayed was well known for their blood thirsty mosquitoes and an abundance offs ticks. I sprayed 3 outfits with one bottle (shorts and tshirt for me, pants and tshirt for them)and we also used some homemade bug spray and didnt see one tick and each only had 2 to 3 mosquito bites (when we scouted the site a few weeks prior to this we got dozens of bites each and were only out of the car for ten minutes....the stuff works.
