Jarod those are the coolest pictures I've seen in a long time.

In on 6...........6 is the new 3

Or the old one, depending on how you set up your view.....my (not so) smart phone says it's page 12. I hear that the (people who think they are) cool people set BF to 40 posts per page, thus making this (the end of) page 3. It's amazing we all manage to get along with all our different realities bumping and jostling in the time/space continuum.

Jarod. My wife teaches at the UNCG summer music camp each year and asked me to ask you if it is ok to use those pictures as part of her lesson plan.

Interesting, a buddy if mine just sent me a link to a nudie website that is inspiration for servicemen. Its called "Tits For Troops". God bless them and the women showing support on that site!

Pity im still working....will need to investigate more later :D

I think I've heard about that one, or at least one like it. Patriotism at it's finest.

2 more hours to go. Time needs to speed up a bit. I was a little hasty at the beginning of the day and got my work done early.

Hey guys who was it that used to do the gorgeous custom file knives? I cant remember for the life of me back that far. I just remember the checkers on the side and that they were absolutely gorgeous.

Was it Michael Morris?

I often fantasize about his friction folders..

Those are some amazing photos photos of your son, by the way. That little moment of discovery probably changed that little boy's life.

That doesn't sound familiar. They were fixed blades.

I just posted up some pics of my folders int the "What folders are the Beckerheads carrying?" thread and realized that I have a sickness when it comes to owning knives. It looks excessive to say the least, and that's not even all of them. But I don't really want to sell any of them, even the ones I don't use, which causes this practical New Englander to feel more than a little conflicted. Stopped into the Cabela's in Scarborough, ME and handled a BM Contego and a Hogue EX01 because, you know, I don't have enough knives yet. Contego was very nice and I want, Hogue was solidly built but is very blade heavy and feels awkward. Still want an EX-04, tho. ZT 0560 is still my hands down favorite.

For you who don't venture into that thread:

Michael Morris is mostly famous for fixed blades made from old files. But there are many, many others who have done it well. Yer gonna have to narrow it down... that's like asking "who made those cool knives from 1095?" ;)

There are several threads in ShopTalk about file knives, that might be a good place to start.

In other news, it's bourbon-thirty here. Time to fire up the weed-whacker.
