CS Voyagers and Victorinox 3 1/2" are my favorites for the price. Probably use Vic Camper most since it does can opening and quick screw driver tasks all the time. Use the saw on it to get some wood for it and other knives to whittle on also when the wind takes off branches around the house.
A $38 Large Voyager is basically equal to a $100+ tac folder, just have to sharpen it up a few days earlier but with money saved can get a new sharpening kit if need be and another Victorinox to give out as a gift.
Gotta be the Kershaw Skyline for me! I actually purchased mine for $10 BNIB from Wally world on clearance. I traded the knife recently and still miss it. Now I can't justify paying $30-$50 for a new one knowin I had one for $10, even though it is well worth every penny. Let's see how that BF version turns out. There is no way I would be able to resist a blue g10, s30v bladed Skyline!! If it has the low riding clip from the ZT0560, my head would explode
Oh Wow. So Many Choices But Some Of My Personal Favorites:
Kershaw Leek
Kershaw Tremor
Kershaw Skyline
Kershaw JYD II
Kershaw Scamp
Benchmade Pika
Benchmade Mini Pika
Spyderco Endura
Spyderco Delica
Spyderco Resilience
Spyderco Tenacious
Spyderco Persistence
Spyderco Dragonfly
Spyderco UKPK
Byrd Line
Spyderco resilience is just a cool solid knife. Then on the other end is the zdp-189 ladybug. IMHO the zdp-189 ladybug offers the best blade steel for the price point. It's super easy to carry and doesn't draw ANY attention in public.
Buck 110-112
Victorinox Explorer Plus - Champion Plus (I like the older models with the glass magnifying glass
Spyderco Delica-Endura (Not sure if these are still under $50, but they were when I bought them a few years ago.
I use my SAK Classic daily, but I also have owned and tried
*** OSO Sweet
