That's sweet. Great everything. Particularly that handle shape. I'll attest to the DM AEB-L EDChef's abilities in a food setting cutting mostly large quantities of citrus.
Thank you. My DM knife journey actually started with aebl kitchen knives. I have yet to try an edc chef, but only because I have a regular chef from him that I cherish.

Five fresh arrivals this weekend.

My David Mary Custom Otter Scout in AEB-L and extra firework on the tang, the Wiltshire kitchen knife with new blade shape and handle shown here previously, and two no-name kitchen knives that were also re-worked with new blade shapes and custom scales (one with serrations).

DocJekl DocJekl that yellow handled repurposed kitchen knife is first time I made serrations.

And a fine job you did too!

And the blue and black handled one was supposed to be for me.... but since you asked nicely. :)

I know, and I thank you! You styled it very closely to the Otter Scout, just quite a bit thinner. Just look at the two of them side by side. At least it wont be as hard to replicate the look and style, with any steel that you desire, vs someone like me who has no idea what he's doing.

I followed the progress as you made it, and had already saved pictures on my computer back in April.

I was thinking the same thing, namely that the first time would probably be kind of awe inspiring. I've never seen it happen in person before.

That's funny.. I found it very satisfying to watch the stump disappear. But, I have only ground 4 stumps in my life.

It's fun initially, but when you've spent as many hours at the controls as I have it gets kind of old. In all honesty we could use an upgrade. I bought this one brand new in 2014 while it was still no more than a side hustle. We've kind of outgrown it and could use a bigger one, but the 80 to 100 thousand dollars necessary to make that happen just isn't on the table right now.
