Apparently I was incorrect when I figured I'd carry my new knife when I took my Riverhawk off. Now I have a riverhawk left side 1130 horizontal draw and the (unnamed?) Knife 3 O'clock handle forward, 45 degree down of horizontal. But hey my pockets are empty.

These Just arrived this weekend, several days early!

(1) Badger Scout with customized extended blue micarta handle:

and

(2) Bittyrang made on a challenge, "...Bittyrang proof of concept. First person to post with a handle material and color I have in stock and available decides how this one gets dressed..."

With color suggested by Wild Willie, "Black micarta, yellow liners", but purchased by Moi!

Fun fact: That blank when it came back from waterjet cutting had a deep notch in the tang, presumably due to a waterjet mishap. I wasn't sure what do do about it at first, but then it became my first attempt at file work, after which I wondered why I had never tried it before.

I only remember texting Jarod about it. He told me he had noticed it when it arrived to him for heat treatment, and he said he thought about grinding it down for me, but he figured instead that I would take it as is and that he was sure I'd find something to do with it. I told him it was a happy accident because it made me try something new
