Yup, it's a chuddy bear. Usually on my NMFBM, but they're close enough in size that it fits rather well on the BC.

Unfortunately my Armoralleather NMFBM sheath doesn't work that well. Too much metal showing up top. On the other hand my Ontario 12" machete sheath works pretty well.

So far so good. Haven't had a chance to use it too extensively yet due my dislike of hot and muggy weather, but that'll be coming to an end pdq. Should have more opportunities to get out with it very soon. It's fall mushroom season after all.

It's definitely more nimble in hand than I expected considering its size.

Had an awesome camping trip with my brother this last weekend, and happened to get my LC the morning I was set to leave. What a perfect way to properly break it in and let it free "in the wild"

I have a few more pics to go through, and may end up writing a little report about the adventure and my initial experience with the CPK LC...but here are some gems that turned out pretty good!

You should definitely put the PNW on your bucket list! I have a feeling that would be a rowdy trip if we went camping together, lol!

That was my first time exploring that part of the state (Castle Lake near Mount St. Helens) - but it was incredible. The spot we found was perfect and we got the low-down from the locals how to get to the lake for good fishing and camping. We saw quite a bit of wildlife out there: elk, deer, fox, bobcat, coyote, evidence of bear (scat). Tons of wild berries: strawberries, salmon berries, blueberries, thimble berries. We built a windbreak wall and dug a decent fire-pit so we could safely cook on the peak where we camped.
