Photos! Post your CPK photos here!

Love that third pic with the EDC. Something about the depth of it just gets me. Awesome
It really shows the scale of the area. You can't really tell in the pic - but there's a herd of (I counted at least) 42 elk in the valley down and left of the EDC. I only saw one 3-point Bull in the whole herd, but they were all healthy and happy!

You should definitely put the PNW on your bucket list! I have a feeling that would be a rowdy trip if we went camping together, lol!

That was my first time exploring that part of the state (Castle Lake near Mount St. Helens) - but it was incredible. The spot we found was perfect and we got the low-down from the locals how to get to the lake for good fishing and camping. We saw quite a bit of wildlife out there: elk, deer, fox, bobcat, coyote, evidence of bear (scat). Tons of wild berries: strawberries, salmon berries, blueberries, thimble berries. We built a windbreak wall and dug a decent fire-pit so we could safely cook on the peak where we camped.

Crazy Pics and awesome locale. I'm up north of you but very close. Maybe I should get you to shoot some rare CPK....

Shortly, I'll most likely put up a thread or a large post on the Shiv that will mention some of the changes it has gone through since it's inception. Here, I just thought I would take and post a quick image in this primary thread of a bunch of them, only one of which has the tumbled stonewash finish. Also included a couple of UFs:

Hmm, where are you located? I'm in Olympia, but I'll take any excuse to get out and explore with some badass knives! :D

would you mind my using your photos on CPK's facebook page?

Had an awesome camping trip with my brother this last weekend, and happened to get my LC the morning I was set to leave. What a perfect way to properly break it in and let it free "in the wild" :D

I have a few more pics to go through, and may end up writing a little report about the adventure and my initial experience with the CPK LC...but here are some gems that turned out pretty good!

Tony, only realized that was there, lol, so just edited to another pic. I appreciate the comment, rather not be showing that. But love it.

You could display those fine blades with a can of Bud Light for all I care. Nothing detracts, nor adds to, that lineup. 'tis sublime.

if you would like any of your photos to be used by CPK for our social media, please send them to me; lorien(at)loriendesign.ca

can't give you anything for them, but if you include your full name, we'll give you proper credit for your photo

For the moment, a final pic of fighters - Shivs and Utility Fighters. With the Shivs, there are several changes over time that a longer post will address. For now, note the two A2 Shivs (#1 top and #9 Cerakote), the stonewash/tumble finishes of #2, 3,4 and 6 from the top - and the sharpened top edge on #2,3,4,5,6 and 8:

Hi Bob, have you ever consider a BOB for your Shivs instead of Shivs for Bob? ;)

Two handed pretend Shiv fight with the BOB which won't fight back (has no arms) would be lots of fun!

Wow. It is actually a lot of fighters there.

Sometime in the next few days, I'll put up a past thread or two that speak to how the Shiv has seen changes over time. In fact, here is a link to your WIP "POINTY FIGHTER" (aka Shiv)machining discussion, that spans two years, primarily discussing the machining aspects. A great read for anyone who wants to learn. A second one that points out the changes over time is only a link away, once I find it again. Great reads, Nathan.

^ I cherish that WIP thread which you had incidentally emailed to me in the recent past. Great find from the past

Feel free! You are welcome to use them anytime/anywhere, but do I appreciate your asking. :)

Nice! My g/f has a bunch of family around Whatcom Co. It's a beautiful area up there - I really want to go wheeling up at Walker Valley sometime soon.

Next summer! Plan to have a bunch of stuff on the Tacoma by then.
