Is 9 enough Bob?

Of the nine imaged, subtract one for the Shiv that's coming your way, leaving eight. Then add two more Shivs to the group, that are destined to eventually land in my hands, for a total of 10. That's what I see as the cap on the number. I hope to trade Shivs around with others, to further diversify the mix of handle materials, but don't see the net total exceeding ten. More likely it would go down, through trading, rather than up.

Having one or two everywhere I look, well, just means being surrounded by artful design excellence in knives, with "lethalook".

SHIVS COMPARED: A2 vs 3V CERAKOTE

There have been several changes made, explained in the earlier post by Nathan, but most easily seen here are the change to thumb ramp and steel thickness.

For those of you who scored an BC (you know who you are!) let me quote Jose Wales,

"Well, *spit* you boys gonna draw them pistols or just stand there and whistle Dixie?"

LET'S SEE SOME PICTURES AND REVIEWS!

I had not realized that the Carothers Dagger was such a large piece of lethal art. All the evidence was there before, but I must not have had really paid attention till now

Mat,

Actually, that's exactly the reason I used the dagger for comparative purposes. I think many have no idea how long the dagger is. The size certainly comes into focus when compared to the BC. It kinda caught me by surprise too when I set both down together. I never would have thought to do a comparison image if Tony hadn't made the request for BC display.

Surprised the heck out of me Bob! I always had conjured somewhere in my head that the Dagger was just slightly longer and larger than the Shiv. I'm just that ignorant at times!
