Photos! Post your CPK photos here!

That number 89 after his moniker is not for the number of his owned CPKs. Well, not yet anyway ;)

With any luck I'll be to half of that one day! 8 or 9 is what I'm at right now.

Dang, I didn't realize you were so young! Now you don't need anyone reprofiling your knives anymore....;)

Yes sir I was a baby. Most of the reason I learned how to sharpen is because of you. Your tips and willingness to help really got me going.

Looks like the D3V fairs very well against Infi:thumbsup::eek:

They're both very durable with good edge retention, but it took the Delta heat treat process to get 3V where it could hold its own with Infi in rough use edge durability like cutting a nail. I think of Infi as a gold standard there but I think with our heat treat they're right there side by side in edge durability. Delta 3V has a little bit of an advantage in edge retention due to superior abrasion resistance and Infi has easy sharpening and a little higher gross toughness but I consider them to be in the same overall league with a lot of overlap. That Jerry was able to do that a long time ago with a conventional melt steel is hugely impressive to me. Much respect for that guy and his accomplishments.

Agree, and Thank you:thumbsup:

Oh man don't destroy the poor thing! Send it to me (along with my other 2)

We beat the hell out of that knife for a durability demonstration video yesterday but there was a problem with the video quality so we're going to resharpen the knife and shoot it again. It did cut a 1/4" bolt without any problem. Demolished a cinder block to rubble too. I did take a still photo after the mayhem.

Oh well. No damage that won't sharpen out. I'll give it a tumble and freshen up the edge and we'll shoot video again next week. *shrug*

Oh my goodness gracious!!! Nathan/Jo & the CPK team, you have a friggin Monster hit on your hands and better think about getting ready for the HDFK preorder, round # 2:

Thank you for Christmas in early Fall :D

Very, Very nice Casino:thumbsup: Congratulations!!! Do you notice any difference in the feel with the addition of the Liners? Beautiful;););););)

Thank you very much Tommy. No, nothing too significant with just fondling and just admiring for now. Will know more with use but I tend to use gloves even since I sliced thru some tendons on my left hand's index finger a year and half ago (stupid kitchen accident). I have M+ hands which at times is an L- for reference. The NASK is very stout and sharp as heck, which is no surprise to any CPK right out of the box :)
