I'm hoping that one day when I fully retire and get out of the urban jungle to walk into the proverbial Sunset in the woods, I will truly make my current CPKs, truly all MINE. If you catch my drift ;)

"Seeing use" is a relative term. For instance, didn't you catch Nathan saying in the past that his UF is his traveling companion? Who knows, maybe for instance he used his to cut pickled cucumbers at roadside diners, instead of puncturing wolverines or something!

I would love to see a sale, Pre-order on these Beauties! I know for a fact I would pick up 2 or 3 and I am pretty sure Mr. Betzner would equal or surpass my order:thumbsup:;););)

Don't play with me Mat! We both know that wood UF is your grail, and that satin scratches just looking at it. Which, is a valid use by the way and what I use most of my knives for.

And it has nothing to do with cost, I dropped my Neon on the ground again the other day, and that is quite an expensive little folder to EDC.

Now keep in mind Nathan sold his user UF, Gus bought it. There is a lesson to be had there.

Now, before you be all crazy and consider using that wood one, send it up to me where it will be safe with all it's CPK wood brethren! Remember, The greatest concentration of wood handled CPK outside of the shop is up here in the true north, strong and free. Where CPKs are displayed for generations to come. That is where you want the wood to be!
 
I imagine Justin is talking about unaltered CPKs rather than those that have been given new scales by someone other than the knifemaker. The difference in value between the two is important to consider.

Oh, and where would we all be without being able to talk trash here, lol.

EDIT: Let me add, you do some dynamite wood scales, without a doubt!

Eh it's alright. Bet I could trade a BC for it, or sell the BC for enough to cover it. If not, nobody can ever cry about an expensive flip ever again.

Yeah, in reality, I've mostly done the wood scales for others and don't, in fact have all that many left. I'd love to have some from the Evil Genius himself.
