Kyle, Mat's wood scaled UF is worth more than a BC at secondary market pricing, so why would he want to use it? Besides, Justin, Tommy and I all want it, too, and one of us will get it, no matter what, lol. Though we must wait for Uncle Mattie's departure from life.:D

Ya never know. Things happen and he may decide to let it go elsewhere for some reason some day. I don't have a crystal ball.

And I'm guessing he didn't want it because of the value. I don't buy knives for the collectors value, YMMV, but I buy them with hopes of using them for something some day. That use may be just holding them and "playing" with them I guess but for the most part I think the majority of people want CPK's to cut things so I figured maybe he wants to cut something with his knife. And at the end of the day, if he plans on keeping it forever, why would he care about devaluing it? That's like not driving the car you wanted your entire life because you're worried about keeping the miles low for resale on something you don't ever plan on selling.
 
The next person who gets his (dirty) hands on my UF will be Grog who will be making leather pants for it. Just a hint: he may be bribable but he's a weirdo and likes totally weird stuff ;)
