Photos! Post your CPK photos here!

Oh nice! The black unbuffed micarta has enough white to make it look grey which is awesome. Much nicer than when something looks not quite black. Great looking pair. Glad to hear how much you enjoy the model!

I'm getting warmer toward unbuffed as a user, so if I'm fortunate enough to land an LC on the 6th, I think I'll be going that route with a natural micarta set...

^^^ I had to do a double take, because at first impressions it looked buffed to me! Thanks for sharing Gus as now I'm really leaning that way (for the added grip) plus convincing my buddy Grog to make me a custom made LC leather sheath.

Merry Christmas EVERYONE :)

How could Christmas get any better. Two awesome knives arrived in the mail today. I had already posted the first arrival in the other thread - then this baby showed up, something that completes a set of four CPK's, all with Westinghouse micarta. A set image will be taken and posted later, but I had to image this baby immediately, THE Westinghouse Light Chopper Racer. Behold!

I almost don't want to dye them because they look so good!
Maybe I'll just hold off until they get all grubby.
You guys weren't joking about how great these FK's are. The fit and finish are perfect, it's ridiculously comfortable and the sloped blade is amazing for carving. I'll have to finish up the trystick I was messing with soon and post some photos.

Glad that you joined us over in here and I can guarantee you that this D3V FK is just the gateway CPK into our new addiction. Try grabbing some more new CPKs while you can ;)

Dang! Very nice pix JJ! Where did that CPK-PK as in Potato Knife come from?!

(As an aside, I really didn't want to abbreviate it to the CPK-Kitchen Knife for some PC reason ;) )

with that acronym, it would probably sell pretty well these days, lol(?)

Happy Holidays, ya'll!

Thanks bud, this is a great group of folks over here and these knives definitely deserve a ton of recognition!
An LC is on the list and I'm also hoping to see a Camp Knife prototype in the future!

Between the knives themselves - the look the feel etc. - and the videos Nathan makes testing what abuse they can sustain, there is no logical reason for someone to not want a CPK in their arsenal!

So regretful I missed out on the beautiful FK but definitely in on the EDC & LC.

When I saw how he bent that LC nearly 105 degrees and it still came back with only the slightest curve (which could easily be remedied) and how it did 20, 30 + degrees and still came back to true....THAT sealed the deal for me on the LC. One hell of a heat treat, to say the very least.

It was the Dagger that started this Westinghouse collection, with the handle material taken from the core of the roll which experienced the most interesting color change of all the Westinghouse pieces. It finally maintains a color best described as mocha chocolate and exhibits slight color change in hand. A really cool piece and color.

So, in order from top to bottom, the RLC, Dagger, FK and EDC, with all but the dagger still subject to color change.

^^^ just beautiful Man! I don't know sh*t about knives when put in your context and compared to someone like you (and generally 99% of peep on this forum :D), but I do know that Nathan/Jo/L.A. design, make and present beautifully crafted and functionally maven cutting tools.

I am almost tempted to change and prioritize my hobbies! ;)

CPK EDC in the house. This is such an awesome knife. I think the very first word out of my mouth was, "Perfection!"

PS - Pardon my dirty, "just in from the shop and so jacked to get this in my hands" hands. #notahandmodelanyway
