Photos! Post your CPK photos here!

I really like the way the fasteners came out. I might go so far as to say, if you can wash them some way to match the factory finish a little closer, I would order a set or two. I need at least one silver set. I really like the way they look. Big thumbs up.

Lol. NOT pathetic! Especially the way this winter's going :)

My two tone g10 scales came in. I think they match the OD sheath from Eric pretty well.

Decided to give the fasteners a bead-blasted finish. They're stainless so hopefully this works out.

That's a good looking rig HK!
I have to agree with Casinostocks about the old couch. I don't think your photos will ever be the same!

I lashed my EDC to my small pack with some 550 cord. The webbing loops are really rigid webbing and it seems really secure. My pack has a flashlight, first aid kit, notebook, wallet, and a number of other small items I carry all the time, including a folding knife. It also holds my pistol if I'm so inclined to carry that way. It's a smaller bag, for sure, and the EDC seems to be right at home.

Special thanks to ManofSteel89 for hooking me up with a sheath and wtlj for making the deal on this knife!

not yet, it's just about finished though, and you guys will be the first to see it. There'll be a fun little thread showing up soon with logo stuff going on in it

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks Justin. It was a about a two-minute job in the blast cabinet. The threads are still coated, I just screwed both screws into the barrel to keep most of the grit out and had at it. Worst part was holding onto them, and if I had to do very many I'd hold the barrel lightly with pliers or something.

LMAO. Out with the old, in with the new!! :D

I'm digging that look. Gonna have to strip mine.

The EDC looks perfect for that pack Tony  On the fasteners, I didn't try any chemical stripper. I'm not sure if they'd strip that way but if they did it might be more of a satin finish than how mine came out blasted.

I got some new pants for my FK :)

Finally finished this trystick up!
No hot spots or hand cramps with the FK.

I wanted to do a task that only involved the tip edge, so I chose this lashing loop design. Needless to say, the Field Knife did the job.

Standard, you're the man when it comes to doing some real world tests for certain utilitarian purposes plus your views on the comfort in using a said knife. I have come to trust you fully with your feedback

I see that you are still using the older FK so I'm assuming that the newer Safe Queen FK is still very safe :D

Nice Standard !!
The Field Knife has superior ergos over all over knives I own , I had no hot spots when carving and whittling with it , and the same goes with the EDC

Thanks bud I appreciate it!
Mors Kochanski was right when he said it a great way to "learn" a knife.
The D3v FK is still at the fondling stage, but it will be used eventually. The new knife smell isn't gone yet!

Thanks jjweb!
I might have to pick up an EDC now after hearing your thoughts. I was hoping for a lightweight version of the FK, but an EDC could fill that void.

Let me add one more  to that. I like that you tried the FK on the slotted cuts. First time I've seen you do those.

........but an EDC could fill that void.

Not sure how the EDC would do with every technique, but I'll bet it would excel at push cuts that require a lot of leverage and control.

Thanks HK! The slotted cut was inspired by another trystick I saw a few years back. Some guy somehow did the whole trystick with a small neck knife!

Wow great work Standard. Looks like it is a capable tool in the right hands.

I am impressed!
Thanks Justin!
You weren't joking about how great the ergo's were with these. The thumb ramp was my biggest worry, but it ended up being so useful.
