One of those is decent looking, couldn't decide which. The second, I think.

It didn't hurt my feelings to pour a couple different glasses of bourbon for pics but I may have set my smoking cessation goals back a bit. Worth it, and funny!

With my many thanks, great appreciation and sincere gratitude to Nathan and Jo Carothers plus Lorien Arnold for the following family members. Apart from wishing to display my latest arrival (LC with unbuffed natural micarta handle scales) I thought that a recap of the current production line in their different handle scales (G10 vs micarta, buffed vs unbuffed) may prove to be beneficial to those of you who may still be undecided regarding production handle scales options or are simply just waiting for your turn in acquiring one (respectfully these are NOT for sale, just for display purpose for now).

I think you should put this excellent gathering of CPK's on tour, with the first stop in that little fishing port of Morro Bay.:D

I am a bit slow to catch on, but I "Bet" that you know a guy over there who's called Bob whose last name ends in ER ;)

I know who you mean, it had escaped me for a moment. Are you someone who knows that brilliant chap?

Thanks to an unexpected offer from a very generous member on this forum, I was able to add another beauty to my Carothers vintage micarta family. They had seen I had two and inquired if I'd be interested in a third at damn near what they paid. So, another huge "thank you" to that individual if they end up popping by this thread.

Also very recently picked up this sheath for the field knife produced by another member here, grogimus. She's a beaut. Thanks again, Dan!

Those Vintage Wood handles are EPIC! Oh, a light bulb just lit up in my head! Back soon...
