The SSDFK is great if you’re not planning on doing batoning. The swedge will cut into your baton much easier than the SDFK and ruin it much sooner (the baton).
If you’re not going to baton with it , you’re good to go, you’ll love it.

I haven't had any issues batoning with my SSDFK unless the baton wasn't dry enough. Regardless, there's always another "baton" laying around.The SSDFK is great if you’re not planning on doing batoning.
