Let's set it up for Saturday. That way you have it for all next week.

My new eyes are so so light
Sounds good.:)

Ti frames are the best way to go for glasses. They can be a challenge to adjust sometimes but that is really about the only drawback.

Nice plastic frames are the best. I need thick plastic frames to hide my coke bottle lenses. I found out I needed glasses by failing the MI Dept of Motor Vehicle Test when I was 15.5 and going for my learners permit.

I based my comments upon the frequency of repairs and overall durability of the frames.

As an optician I get to repair frames all the time and I can assure you I repair and adjust more plastic frames then titanium.

As for your Coke bottle lenses, consider a different lens material. Maybe high-index or Trivex.

If lens thickness is still a problem,
may I suggest a roll and polish of your lenses. It can make the thickness less notable to others.

Sometimes there is nothing you can do except live with thick lenses and then, yes, plastic may be best for cosmetic reasons.

However, Ti frames are lighter, stronger, and less prone to adjustment issues. They can also be much more $$$$.

Well I got titanium frames. And in the Optometrist office there is a 10 lb weigh hanging off of the arms of my same kind of frames. In the pamphlet that came with my glasses they show 45 lbs hanging off of them so I don't know if plastic is still king of durability now days. 20191017_172405.jpg

Well that's damn good marketing if I do say so myself.

Made in Poland out of titanium no screws. And the frames are the price of a umnumzaan. But at 48 I found I needed glasses. And if I'm gonna have to ware something everyday I want them to be comfortable, attractive, light and virtually indestructible.

Tomorrow I'll take a picture of my actually glasses.

Here is pictures of my actual glasses and the hinges. The Optometrist showed me how the hinges came apart so if it did I could put them.back together but for the life of me I can't figure out how they come apart. And I really don't want to take them apart.

That's a very interesting hinge design. I wouldn't mess with it unless u absolutely have to. They cost to much to booger up lol

Yes sir. The Optometrist took the display and 2 seconds and poof apart it came. And 2 seconds it was back together. I'll wait till I have to and and I'm sure I can figure it out.

Yea I have no idea. Just a guess tho, it might have something to do with the tab laying on the frame
