Hi guys need some help and advice here.

Saw on Fleabay a tom brown tracker, always wanted to try on of these, but didn't like the black coating now on the knife.

This one came up on Fleabay, liked the look of the knife and won the auction. It stated that it was a Tom Brown Tracker just without documentation.

Link:

And heres the But ! should have noticed but i the pics it says Tom Brain !!! Yes I know, I should ave paid more attention, but it looks identical, anyone know who makes these as obviously Tom Brown didn't unless he had a dyslexic moment

Should I still by do you think the standard will be much different, if not then I'm ok that its not genuine, but does someone know the history or forge that made it before I buy a PUP !

Any advice welcome before I pay the money.

Many thanks

Abusing a knockoff like you would abuse a real tracker could lead to serious injuries.

I second Angus, stay away.

If you don't like the coating. Try a RS6 or stip a TOPS

I would bail on that one...its almost guaranteed to be a fake...

Thanks for the replies guys what do you think of this one, genuine or not ?? as I bought this to, as to combine shipping to the UK its suppose to be black hawk industries Yaraborough:

I may be able to refuse to pay for the tracker as its evidently clear its a fake, but is this one genuine as I've not seen one of these up close.

many thanks
Paul

Please refuse to pay $200 for a fake!!!!!!!! You will get taken. Tell this scammer he is selling an illegal copy and he doesn't let you back down you will accuse him of selling a fake replica.

Let’s see if we can find the right forum …

they are both fakes.

the sheaths are wrong on both. the "green beret" coating looks wrong, serrations are wrong, scales are wrong, and the blade profile also looks wrong.

Sorry lost by the last reply LoL but robertmegar thanks for the info so the serrations don't match so its definitely a forgery to even though the steel is stated as the same, I guess we can assume its not :-(

Thanks MORIMOTOM sorry it was Cougar Allen that i was confused by not yours. So then both are fake great disappointment. So here we go to challenge the seller, ohh dear !!

Thanks
Paul

no problem. cougar is a moderator, and that is his way of telling you this thread was started in the wrong forum, thats all.

Ok sorry new to this area of forgeries and wasn't sure where to post to get a fast response.

Many thanks guys for you help. Is it ok for me to use this link if the seller gets unreasonable about the fact there fakes.

Cheers
Paul

Save your money and buy the BECK original knife. Or a custom WSK from Mark Terrell, he does a fine job.

Maybe the Tom "Brain" Tracker was to be a one of J. Lightning's forged knives he calls to Rabie..............................or is that Razr?

Anyway, all three (3) are fakes, fakes, fakes, FAKES

The "Tom Brain" or "Tom Braun" knives pop up on Ebay quite a bit. They are made in China.

If you haven't paid yet, I would back out of the deal. Take the negative feedback if you have to. If you have paid, I would try to get my money back. If you used PayPal, file a complaint.
