PLEASE POST YOUR TRADITIONAL GERMAN FIXED BLADES & POCKET KNIVES,

Interesting knife, Harry, like Duncan said cool!
C. Julius Herbertz was founded in 1868 and registered in 1891. They manufactured knives up until 2000, when they became importers and distributors and are still distributing knives marked C.Jul.Herbertz as of 2015 (the date Carter's Guide to German Knife and Sword Makers was published). There are dates for several trademarks, none of which are on your knife, so, no clue when it was made?

Thanks Dan . I looked at the blade again and there are no other markings or ghost letters on it other than ROSTFREI . This knife looks Carried A Lot and used very little .

Love this Charlie 😍- Funny........ I remember you saying quite some time ago " Yep......... I'm going to stop buying knives and down size a little"

Hows that going for you Charlie? 😁🤣😂
Hopeless!!! I seem to reduce my holdings but more slowly than I had hoped!!
This next weekend's Oregon Show should help a lot!!!
We'll miss you, Duncan!!!!

I wish you well with the sales Charlie, I'm sure you will have success, not just the knives you sell, but the experience the buyer has makes it a no brainer to go to your stall, and there will be some pretty awesome folk hanging around in the "Cool Corner" for sure!

I hope all have THE best time for everyone who attends, I am aiming for the next one!

An Ol' Pirate who has sailed many Seas there Jose and still looks ready to navigate more!

Thanks, Duncan.👍
It must be quite old, it's a bit worn.

Question:
Is a German Empire  PATTERN acceptable?
(The Okapi, even if not one of the originals made in Germany or later, South Africa, and not by the Okapi company?)
