it's been 2 days. I cannot get through to BF via my phone - keep getting dotdefended against. Already cleared the cache and rebooted the phone. I get the similar message to the above but the ref no changes each time I try :barf::grumpy:
 
For paying members trying to navigate/use services, imho, not acceptable....
 
Holy Schmoley!!!!!! Do dots really require this level of defense? Got it again!!

Had it numerous times this morning, nothing I tried worked, including clearing my browsing history several times, re-booting my computer, etc.

It's about time this was sorted out now.

yup, it still doesn't work on my smartphone (or not so smart). been 2 days. I'm not sure what else I can do, I already cleared the history and cookies. but can't keep doing so as I have other cookies I need to keep.
 
Happened to me a few minutes ago just trying to access the site through my bookmarks. Didn't have the foresight to take a screen capture before clearing history and restarting my browser. Seems OK for the mo.

dotDefender keeps rearing its ugly head. For me I am almost always blocked when I first check BF in the morning around 5-5:30 ET. However, have also had it happen when trying to post something or send a PM. Posting the error codes seems a waste of time ... since, as pointed out, the codes seem to be randomly generated and change each time you refresh/reload the page. Terribly frustrating .... but not as frustrating as being in the dark as to what's being done about it. I know that it can be extremely complicated troubleshooting a complex, database-driven site like this. However, looking back to the first post, it seems that dotDefender was first installed and underwent tweaking in early 2013. No problems reported with it until nearly 2 years later. So, what happened between then and now? An update on what's going on, being done, and/or options would be nice.

On a plus note .... and to dotDefender's credit. It did save me a bunch of money when I was about to post an "I'll take it." in an exchange listing yesterday. Just as I clicked the post button, dotDefender blocked me. Refreshed to try to send a PM .... still locked out. By the time I got back, the knife was gone! I thank you and my wallet thanks you!
 
Couldn't access the forum for >1/2h ~5.20am your time. This is really getting annoying :grumpy::mad:
 
Just got another dotDefender warning this morning. Site worked great on my phone but not my laptop.
