Pocket Hogs…

I haven’t been able to get this custom Slug Dashi out of my pocket.
 
Regardless of all the fine knives I have, the Umnumzaan is my pocket hog since she arrived several months ago. To me, it's the perfect compromise of aptitude and carry size and every time I open it, I get a little excited and admire it because of how smooth and almost flawless it operates. That feeling of admiration simply doesn't go away.
 
My Benchmade 551SBKSN is always in my left pocket and my CRKT Apache II is hogging my left pocket (As of June 26).
 
Lately I keep going back to my Kershaw RAM. This thing is getting all kinds of use lately - everything from food prep to trimming threads and helping lay hardwood flooring. Next month, who knows?
 
As of late, my RAT Model 1 has taken up residence in the RF pocket, to the exclusion of all others. Of course, I am not counting the Buck Custom 110 on my belt.
 
Four months later and my LH Sebenza still reigns. The Para2 is gone in favor of the blue ZDP Stretch. Sometime my LH Umnumzaan makes an appearance too.
 
Chris Reeve Small Sebenza 21 with micarta inlay, I have carried it almost daily for a year. The knife that gets the second most pocket time is my benchmade kulgera, and it is alongside the sebbie and almost never carried in its place, but i have had that knife 2 maybe 3 years and its still going strong and finding lots of pocket time.
 
It used to be my Benchmade 530 or my Spyderco ZDP Delica...but these days it's consistently been my Cold Steel Pocket Bushman. It may be heavier that I'd normally go for, but it rides well in a pocket, has a no-nonsense useful design, and a super tough lock! Also if I damage it somehow (not likely) I'm only out $30, so I'm able to beat the tar out of it without thinking twice--just once. :p

It and a Case swayback and ESEE Izula have been my consistent EDC trio for the past year or so now. :)
 
My spydie gayle bradley has been outting up one hell of a fight staying in my pocket. It even beat out my new ayoob today which still has factory edge AND new knife smell. It just opens up ssooo smooth, cuts like a cold wind and has cf! but it is very wide so it certainly is a hog haha
 
ss chive. i work in a non knife friendly environment. i just drop the chive in my pocket with my keys and have no issues using it.
 
It was my Sage 2 but now it's my Zaan. Only had it a couple of days but it's hard to imagine anything else getting more carrying time for awhile.
