Podcast centered around slip joint making/traditional knife history - The Catch Bit Show

I have just finished listening to the last podcast of Neal and Mikes "The Catch Bit Show Podcast" 62nd Show and listening to Grayson was a real pleasure, I always believe that a person who has had to face true adversity and overcomes, is a person who has earned a place of respect and is always worthy of listening to, and I got that from listening to Grayson with the lads.

Super year! Thank you both Neal and Mike and all of their guests, its been a great ride, looking forward to next year that's for sure.
 
Since there is a new Catch Bit podcast out today, I thought I'd pop this thread up for the start of the New Year!!! Here is a pic of some of the knives we talked about!! Maybe Neal and/or Mike will chime in!!CatchBit Jan 1.jpg

Thanks for coming on my friend, and what a beautiful group of knives!!!
 
This was the first time that Mike and I had no real agenda for the show other than to have our dear friend Charlie on.
It was great fun just to "free wheel" with Charlie for an hour!!!
Here are a couple of knives that I had talked about during the show.
On the bottom is a nice old French lock back folder from the 1800s.
A German Bruckmann whittler sits above.

But I do know that he is quite a character and a darn good knife maker.
He is very young and I look forward to seeing what he does in the future.
 
Got busy and couldn't listen for a while. But am fully caught up and what a great string of guests!! Love listening to the podcast. Nothing else like it even comes close.

Absolutely my pleasure. I’ve been binge listening to a bunch of The Catch Bit Show’s podcasts recently! Great job. And fun! Sometimes I wish I was right in there with ya!

Man I wish those camp knives didn't sell so high on the secondary market. Working on the podcast during my commutes, always cool to see you on the podcast Charlie
