Thank you, skblades skblades !

I voted for the 303. I have a 301 and am pleased with it, I used it a lot in my previous job and a bit in the woods and vineyard. A nice flat ground 303 with stag handles would be even better, but if it's a 301 I'm perfectly content as well. I haven't got any previous forum knife but if we go with Buck I'll most probably get one. Stainless is great for hot sweaty summer days.

I voted 301, then realized that the 501 has been on my wishlist for a long time so I changed my vote to 501.

Thanks SK for all your hard work and willingness to put up with us!

I changed to a 113, though I do realize that the 300 series will likely be chosen. That being said, I will still likely be in the market, unless I can commission a custom shop 113 (with an alloy other than S30V).

Are any of the lock backs "thin", or did the member that linked his do the thinning himself?

I was torn between the 301 and 501, I went for the 501 because it is one of those knives that is just the right size, it rides really well in the pocket, has enough handle to get a grip on it, and is very easy to open by pinching the blade. 301 and 503 are just too small for my hands.

I voted 301. I like @waynorth's idea from the main thread about doing a 2 blade Jack and bypassing the opposed pivot/spey blade. A clip and a sheepsfoot are all I need. That would be pretty unique, too, from Buck.
If that idea is a possibility, and gains traction, I would change my vote to it in a heartbeat.

The 503, 501, and 532 are all rather thin frames. If you are referring to the three lockbacks posted in the other thread, the 110 and two 112's, those are not factory spec knives, they were modified.

I voted 301, still hoping for the possibility of swapping the Spey for a punch (I'd settle for a pen, I just hate Speys) :).
