I haven’t read all the responses yet, but on the strength of the photo, I voted for the 501. It is at the upper limit of what I like to carry, but I liked the ratio of scale material to bolster as compared to the 503. Drop point blade, of course.

The 503 or either stockman would be fine with me as well.

I am very enthusiastically for Charlie's idea of a Texas Jack (Buck 301 with clip/sheepfoot only). Similar to those produced by Schrade years ago (I own two of these Schrade-USA models), but with a secondary straight, non-serrated sheepfoot blade.

Only around ~200 or so votes
Doing some lazy quick mafs 82 for a stockman pattern the rest for some type of lockback

There is a free radical that your calculation hasnt calculated for..
Votes don't equal purchase decision.
eg I voted 501 but will happily accept the 301 .
Its early days with scales yet to be decided.
Good to have someone with an eye on the numbers though. Keep up the good work.:thumbsup:

Also, some folks will buy multiple knives.

Maybe it would've been wise to setup a poll where you can select a Number of knives purchased per pattern. That way you could also speak out that if pattern x is chosen you wouldn't buy a knife at all.

I am a big fan of single blades. An even bigger fan of the single blade Lockback. I will pick up at least one, but have never been a fan of multi blade patterns. I’ve tried and tried, but they just aren’t “me.” Either way, at least one will be had. I have to stick with my 501 vote, and would get multiple if it or the 503 was chosen. I think they are both quite user friendly, in a good “sweet spot.”

I voted for the 110. After seeing the results i changed to a 301 to avoid throwing my vote away. I agree with the sentiment that i would be happy with any option presented. Thanks to all those who are making this a reality.

I'm considering doing something similar. I voted for the 503 but it's not generating much interest. Might change my vote to the 501 because it's my second choice and currently in second place.

After a bit more thought and looking at the pictures, I changed my vote from the 303 to the 501. Been thinking I wanted a single blade for a while, and that would look great in those sweet burlap micarta scales!

A 301 would not get much carry from me as it would not ride well in suit pant pockets. However, a 501/503 in barehead may be a really great option! I might have to change my vote!

I did vote for a 301, but I'm honestly great with any of those.

Thanks for the pictures skblades. Being a new collector, this, along with the other valuable input, is what makes this forum so great. Now I just need to choose...

As I said in the 2018 forum knife thread, I would love a 113 Ranger in an upgraded alloy. It is U.S. made, and an option.

(Top knife)

Definitely would love this knife with upgraded materials. What a great design.

Just added the 113 to the options.

I'll be changing my vote

I voted 301. I like @waynorth's idea from the main thread about doing a 2 blade Jack and bypassing the opposed pivot/spey blade. A clip and a sheepsfoot are all I need. That would be pretty unique, too, from Buck.

I'm pretty much out on a 3 bladed 301. I'm convinced the Spey tip is designed to be proud of the frame from the one I got and all the pictures I've seen online.

On the other hand, I'm very in if it's just the clip and sheepfoot.
