Yowza!!!. . . .I can't say that I expected these results!!!. . . . I figured that it would go one way or another by a huge majority. . . As it stands right now, it is very well split!!!

Let's Drink!!!!

Number 1 is my choice. Love the thumb ramp and choil. The design says Busse to me. Put me on the list!!!!

I am in with the no choil bunch. I really like the blade in close to my grip when I am doing delicate work. That last half inch of the blade is just very useful to me.

Sure a choil is nice, but that #2 design is just insanely nice. Come on, you can admit it!

#1 looks much safer than #2 (a good lesson to bring with you when you go stomping into the woods;))

OK... I'll go next. My name is Mike, I a member of a Search and Rescue Team, and I like #2.

Wow, that was a relief. All that weight off my shoulders...

In politics 56% is considered a landslide. Its #1 by a mile:D

i agree, this isn't florida, go with the one i voted for, screw the recounts, besides who has time to recount when we just started drinking

I like #1.

But ... I think we should go with our SAR brothers on this one.

There WILL be other cool Busse designs down the road.

Thinking about that Busse Khukri!!;)

I voted for #2.

#1 may be more in keeping with the busse-style, but I think functionality should come first. the closer you get to the cutting edge with your index finger the more control you have for finer work.

If you need more of a guard to keep your fingers from sliding up on the edge, you can always tie a d-guard. Even a short piece of paracord tied between the front and rear holes can keep your fingers safe

Yet another vote for giving the actual SAR guys and gals the lion's share of say in what THEY want in an SAR blade. Only makes sense, to me anyway. (Good question, Tony G.)
Pete

I like #1 but with no or at least a smaller choil. Off to the drinking!!!!!!!!!!

Well that depends... was there a single SAR team member that voted for #1?
.

Hard to say, but since each person's vote was registered; why not let the folks who voted for #2 have the option to be inline first to purchase. Probably 80% are the SAR folks to begin with, and Jerry did say this knife was for the SAR community:thumbup:

Many SAR folks I know, and have worked with, EDC the BM FB Griptilian. Once you look at that design you can see the similiarities with #2 design. SAR personnel sometimes have to rely on their main FB to be their Bushcraft knife until they get on scene; from there on it's gotta do the job. INFI can do the job, Let's Roll:thumbup:
