So, in your "spare" time how about some pics of the new shop ;)

Well, above you can see half of my high class, freshly poly'd OSB work bench. lol When I get everything cleaned up I'll take some shots. I spared every expense, building everything, even my new desk, out of 2x4's and OSB. In the lounge area are a couch and chair from the good will store, my end tables are old wooden cable guy line spools and in the corner are some weights and a punching bag for break time. The landlord is still working on figuring out where we can plumb in a sewer pipe, so no toilet yet. I'm keeping it pretty spartan.

Sounds like a good approach ;)

Take lots of pics so you can look back when you polish and outgrow this one! I guessing it won't take too long..

Posting an update here.

With the quantity of sheaths involved I'm using a new process and, as it goes, having to work the kinks out as I adjust. As such, I'm running a bit behind schedule. Guy should have a buttload of sheaths by Monday to start shipping though with, I believe, the remainder arriving Tuesday. So not too bad of a delay, but one that's on my end, so apologies to anyone affected.

I don't have the fortitude to track down my camera Tonight, but I'll post pics Tomorrow. The good news is that the sheaths are gonna be better and future ones will be going out at a much faster pace. The GSO-4.1 sheaths will include drain channels and bottom positioned drain holes to make them more ambidextrous and generally cooler.

Thanks,
Kiah

I guess there's no way to get in on this at this point?

Guy said that he is going to have extras, not sure if those will go at the pre-order price but you can always try ordering on his website now.

Otherwise, some of us bought more than one (I'm waiting on two), so some may show up on the exchange in a few weeks.

Thank you for jumping in, Kiah, as right now you are effectively an employee of Survive! Knives. Congratulations on being a part of this! Now get to work ;)

Ugh. Found my camera, but I'm a battery short on getting it to actually do anything and I'm not driving to town for it. I'll get pics posted Tomorrow or Tonight if I happen across one.

Guy, got your message. I'll get back to you in the morning.

go to surviveknives . com the 4.1 isnt available for pre order anymore but others are!

Yeah, I think they are just available to order if I am looking at the sight correctly. So place one via his website now.

Available to order at full price, which is what I did since I missed the preorder. Even then, $200 is a good price for this hunk of G10/micarta and M390!

Sheaths look great. I eagerly look forward to seeing it up close.

Great looking sheath! Is it fully ambidextrous (can the belt loops be switched to the other side), or is lefty carry only available with the slots?

Belt loop can be switched to either side, moved into the slots (or middle eyelets), or switched to the eyelets on each end of either slot for horizontal carry.
