i am glad to see that the issue is somewhat getting resolved,

since this is the good bad and ugly forum i'd like to express my experiences with Eric and On Scene Tactical.

Eric is probably the only person on this forum that i possess some sort of personal connection to. at the time i didnt have enough money to have sheaths made for my knives and eric undertook the job for a few knives in trade in lieu of cash. this was greatly appreciated and i still thank him till this day. the after service and treatment i received from him is above and beyond the call of duty.

during the summer while on a hike my knife fell approximately 40 feet onto hard rock and the sheath received a 3 inch long hairline fracture running from tip to back. the sheath protected the knife and did its job extremely well. the sheath was still functional with the aide of some duct tape however upon sharing my story with eric on one of our daily conversations he told me that it was un-acceptable and my sheath would be replaced, free of charge. this i must stress greatly because eric had gone way beyond the call of duty when he guaranteed his work. i can't even begin to recall any other company or person i have dealt with that provides this kinda warranty.

this is in no way trying to bash one member or praise another, i am simply posting my experience with eric (onscenetactical/normark) for future references. this post will exist for those who, in the future want to order from eric and decide to read through this thread on the GB&U. they will come across this post and hopefully appreciate the fact that there are people out there who really care about customer service.

just wanting to share my experience; thanks for your time

I really don't like getting in the middle of these issues, especially when I know and respect both parties. So all I am going to say is:

Chuck is a great guy, even if he has the perverted sense of liking the desert finish knives :D

Eric(Normark) is a great sheath maker and a great guy. A couple of years ago, I gave away a Becker BK7 or 9 and Eric offered to make a free sheath for whomever was getting it. That is a great guy and I wold deal with him anytime.

that's all folks

Is a knob similar to a ballsack?
Or is it similar to a smegma laden MRSA infected limpy syphillitic brain rotted troll bastid?

It has got to be one or the other, right?:D:D

And with that, it looks like its time for the mods to please lock this thread. PLEASE!

Knob...in Liverpool they talk about Knobhead...idiot etc.

Back to the kydex: Actually, this is not so much sheath material (another British word for condom..)as scabbard material. It's hard, durable, protects the wearer from the knife&the knife from external damage & elements but it also WILL scratch the knife itself., can't really be avoided.

I think this would be locking the barn door after the cows got out.

The drama is over, the show is done, move along nothing to see here.

This issue has been resolved, and it is drifting WAY off topic.

So, lets move on, shall we?
