Post up your 4-5" Bushcraft blades

Got an F1 a while ago, amazing woods-knife

Here's mine, a Marttiini Lynx model #132 with a 4 1/8" stainless steel full rat tail tang blade, and a curly Birch handle. Although the stock sheath is AOK, right now I'm waiting on a Bushcraft sheath being made by JRE Industries for use as a necker..

Cheers,
Serge

Just received it few hours ago from my friend who just came to my country.

He really said that he only gave me the bandages since he did not want to brake our good relationship by give me the knife. Since some people believe that giving knife means cutting the relationship.
He gave those lovely things because he said that i really good friend of him. He he knew that i love knives.

What a great gift! Ive had my F1 a few weeks now, and I have to say this knife is near perfection.

Btw, giving a knife in old swedish folklore might mean what you suggest... some sweds give a coin back in exchange, just to make sure :)

Just got a new one this weekend. BHK large Nessmuk.

Well ya know I am all about those crappy hollow handle and non working saw teeth knives. Such as these pitiful examples.

I love this series of photos. It shows what you can do with a good knife.

(Oops. I was specifically referring to Trice's photo series on pg 15.)

I tried a hollow handled job I think it was in 79 , ordered from back of a comic book .
It was true to is origins , and was a joke .

Im not mad on the concept now . I keep a knife in my kit , as a back up , but I keep my main knives separate from my kit . I would prefer to lose either my knife , or my kit , but to lose both .. that would make things awkward if I was at all relying on it being there .

I actually carry a couple folders and a mini kit as well as my psk when Im out and about , I have coat gear , and pants gear .

I would like some elaboration on the knife in question and your opinion on it :D
I just cannot fathom how it would be useful (at least to me). Call me biased, I won't deny it.
