Post up your 4-5" Bushcraft blades

Myal>I feel ya, I carry a PSK on my belt in addition to my knife.

Deadfall>I like the concept of the whole knife package. Whistle, sharpening stone and ferro rod all in one package is pretty neat. The knife itself isn't spectacular but it takes a good edge and cuts things.

I got a good deal on it and found out it's not as bad as some folks make it out to be.

I would like some elaboration on the knife in question and your opinion on it :D
I just cannot fathom how it would be useful (at least to me). Call me biased, I won't deny it.

Its probably a form of disguise ... it makes anyone who sees you carry it automatically assume you are some kind of armchair survival expert , dedicated fan of THE MAN ... and probably about to shortly be a contestant for the darwin awards because of that

makes a person seem way less of a potential threat , or even competition for resources ... could be a life saver in that alone , something no other knife has the ability to do , with just a single glance

with all of that , I still cannot find it in myself to dig into my pocket and buy one ....

What knife is that? Looks custom...who's the maker? Thanks!

I modded my BHK Nessmuk a little bit. Put more of a choil after the handle for a better choked-up grip. And I put a convex edge on it.

Here are some pics I took of breaking in a Condor Bushcraft for a different thread, but thought that you all might enjoy them.

Kindling and Tinder, yeah it's only pine I know, but I wasn't expecting to have a new knife and it was the only dry wood available.

This is from a knife that I didn't own 48 hours ago, and wasn't planning on buying 49 hours ago.

Awesome skills on that carving  Especially for a knife you just got, that looks great.

Although this isn't a true bushcraft knife it's a 4" blade.Some good looking knives on this thread.

I certainly don't have a lot of knives in the 4 to 5 inch category, but what I have works very well.
