Prices are being fixed.
Letter of the law, fine it’s used to mean a totally different thing.
Plain english, prices are being fixed. Controlled. Using MAP which also means something totally different. Funny.
I purchase nothing from communist, totalitarian countries unless there is no other alternative on earth and I can't do without.Sorry you feel that way Floatingby. As we've discussed before, only Chinese manufacture will give us an opportunity to lower prices because the Chinese unfairly devalue their Yuan. Try to purchase a coffee pot, blender or washing machine made in the US or Canada for that matter. A 6/1 Yuan is a 3rd world country dollar value....for a country that puts people in space and builds island in the sea?
I guess "fair" is an American word.
When everything is made in China (almost there now) many will be ....?

Sure, I'm going to do that...on the Spyderco board. What do you recommend instead now that's made in Japan with a super steel and composite handles for less than $100 CD?
So just trolling then.Sure, I'm going to do that...on the Spyderco board.
You an idiot or what? You ask me what knife other than Spyderco I would recomend on the Spyderco board, and when I don’t bite to your fishing you accuse me of trolling? I’m done with you, idiot. So just trolling then.
I mean, knives like the Delica, a knife I used to recommend all day long, now passes the 100 dollars mark in Canada; we are talking about a mass produced, sub 3" VG10 bladed lockback with a plastic handle that is made overseas...
I appreciate the brand, but I won't be buying another for a while.Spyderco has made their decision, we can all make our own. Why the negativity?
I have a bunch on the list. The Respect, the Lum Tanto coming out BHQ any day, the Stretch in VTOKU, and still the One Eye Jack, the serrated ARK, and a hawk, and bunch of others no doubt.I have another Spyderco on the way.
Guess the price increases didn't stop me from spending money.
Made overseas in a country with one of the highest costs of living on the planet.
It's your money. Buy what makes you happy and gives you the best value for your money. If a small price increase makes you look elsewhere, it's ultimately your decision.I appreciate the brand, but I won't be buying another for a while.
