I just realized that I never did an entry for the first 3 knives so here we go.

1. I love this photo and SBJ, one of my favorites.

2. I do not own any S&M knives, but I would love to own this sheepfoot beauty!

3. Duke might get lucky by 3! But I doubt it:thumbup:

4. I am regular and traditional, just ask my wife :D

5. We are all winners here on this porch :D

6. Christian Who???

I'm in!
1. Here is a pic of my newest acquisition and weekday edc (I wear a suit to work).

2. I am new to knives in general, but absolutely love traditionals. I've only got a GEC 81 Stockman and the 77 Barlow above. I love them both but Im anxious to start expanding and trying new styles. Any of these GAW knives would help in this area.

3. All intelligent people have Kentucky winning it all and protecting their perfect record.

4. I'm regularly in this sub-forum drooling over all the pics.

5. Perfect timing for the GAW!

6. There is actually a 30 for 30 documentary that just came out called, "I Hate Christian Laettner"...enough said.

7. I love basketball but generally follow pro more than college.

This is an awesome GAW! Thank you for the opportunity!

Here's a pics of my beloved Schatt Cotton Sampler.
I love all traditional knives but some just give me a warm fuzzy when I carry them.
I don't really follow basketball but I'd be just fine seeing Kentucky win it all.
Thanks gor the generous GAW.

Primble,
your giveaway threads always have something special ;) this is not an entry but I'll play anyway :D
I was completely out of track about horses and the Kentucky Derby, but it seems I follow basketball (meaning NBA and NCAA) more than many US members. :p
Actually, basketball is one of my favourite sports and I played my share until I entered university, although I only played it with friends and at school (I pursued my "career" in sports in volleyball until my job took over), and I still watch it on tv when I can (be it the Italian league, the Euro league or US basketball). So here's my pick for the final four:
- Kentucky
- Arizona
- Michigan State
- Gonzaga.

OK, I'd better throw my hat into the ring for that TC. Wisconsin, Kentucky, Michigan State, Gonzaga. Due to a technical foul called on Primble , with 0.3 seconds remaining, Wisconsin makes 2 free throws, and eeks past highly talented Kentucky 73-71, thus avenging the pain of last years final four loss by 1 point. Wisconsin goes on to beat Michigan State in the championship, whilst Primble re-oils his knives, thus preventing rust damage (from the salty tears :(). Primble watches an old tape of Adolph Rupp leading the 'Cats to a championship in his trusty VCR. A shaky, but recovered and "already looking forward to next year" Primble, musters the courage to pack up his trusty TC and ship it northward. At least that's the way it's all playing out in my head this morning.:D

Final Four:

Kentucky
Wisconsin
Michigan State
Duke

Final game - Michigan State 69 Kentucky 64

The field of entries that remain in contention has narrowed. I will update the contenders again through the weekend.

Since the three of you picked slightly different, only one member can advance, after the Elite Eight has been played. ;) Whoever does survive must also have predicted the two teams in the finals and the final score.

My TC feels pretty safe at home about now. ;):D

Paul must be sleeping off an anxiety hangover this morning. :D
Big game for he and you tonight Rob.

This is one of my favorite knives. Great size, D-2 blades and just love the Amber Bone slabs. Crappy washed out pic. But hey I'm posting this quickly.
I do favor S&M. But then again I also favor Buck, Case, GEC, Winchester, Ulster, Schrade, Canal Street, Camillus... well you get the picture:D
I stopped watching basketball after Bird retired from the Celts.:p
Lastly, not being a wordsmith like most of you fine people I don't have much else to say. Other than thank you all for putting up some really fine knives.
Now that I'm thinking of it. Can I add a knife for the GAW? I don't have pics but it is a brand new Case Chestnut Swayback Jack in the box.

I believe your knife is safe Rob.

GO C.A.T.S.!

I can't wait to have that TC in my hands after the smoke clears Roberto! Go Green! :D

Of the remaining eligible to win, nobody picked the Irish to beat Kentucky and advance. Paul should have entered his picks and made this more interesting, just in case - well - you know ! :o:o

(That might have been more weight than I could bear if the Irish beat my Cats and then I would have had to give a TC Barlow to Paul, for his additional prize ! :o:eek::eek::D)

The green don't have the mustard - the Irish might. ;) ( Just some friendly trash talk my friends ) :D:D:D

Shake down the thunder from the sky.
What though the odds be great or small
Old Notre Dame will win over all,

Thanks for the GAW Primble!

Im in!

This is currently my favorite knife! something about the 15 really has me hooked.

I'm not a big basketball follower..........but I'll take Virginia (have lived in nova for a while). I do try to follow my aluminator IUP in DIV II. They beat Slipper Rock which is all that really matters........but I'll take them for it all in DIV II. Go HAWKS!

I'm interested in the knife because I only own one s&m (heritage Jack) love the knife but hate the f&f. It's currently a beater. I'd love to have an example of their good work., and I know a knife you offer up is going to be a good example. Also I'm from PA and have wanted a knife with a keystone shield for some time. I've been hesitant to buy one of the current keystone offering based on my current knife, but I excited to see one you have handled. So I'm really interested in trying it out.

Thanks again.

Jim

I dug through this thread and im pretty sure im the only one that posted about DIV II..........just saying. GO IUP.

Haha....

GO HAWKS.

Jim

Well.........IUP just lost the championship game. I know, I know........you were all glued to the tube for the DIV II championship game.

My prediction for Virginia in DIV I was off.....but I did predict IUP for the DIV I championship.

That's gotta win something..........right? Haha.

Good luck all in the games tonight.

Jim

Hey, good luck to those in the running for the very generous TC of Primbles:thumbup: I did not enter as I am fortunate to own the very same TC.

My Son and I are gearing up for the BIG game tonight. We are trying to locate every LUCKY item we can find:o:D

Truly an epic game and match up tonight. We know the odds are greatly against us but if we go down to the mighty Wildcats, it will be while fighting tooth and nail.

Primble my friend, your team is unlike any I've seen in many years of watching NCAA Mens Basketball. They are amazing.

This is nerve racking yet fun, I wish you and your team well...win or lose, GO IRISH:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

The BBN knows a great team when they see one.

The Irish presents a real challenge, I believe. :o:o:o

I must admit I have a few jitters, but, my pockets are FULL of lucky charms, silver dollars, witches tokens, snake charms, a four leaf clover, and my LUCKY knife. :grumpy::grumpy::D

I have even recruited fan support from the southern most shores of the SEC !!!:eek::eek:

I wish you well my friend and will feel bad for you if your team loses, however, trying my best to wart off the "Luck of the Irish" !!! :D:D:D

Go Cats !!! :)
