Thank you Stephen and although it's simply a game my heart is heavy...not for me but the young men on the team. I know Mike Bray will tell them to be proud and hold their heads high as they truly earned it:thumbup:

My Son takes it so hard, I feel for him as well...he's 21 and just headed out with his buddies for the night. He told me before he walked out the door..."I'm proud of them Dad" atta boy;):thumbup:

Whew !!!

I am frazzled !!!!!!!!!! :o:o:o

Thought the Irish had the Cats beat !

I could feel my heart beating ! :o:o

What a great great game ! Cleanly played by both sides, with no trying to beat you up, just playing basketball, the way it should be !:thumbup::thumbup::)

Paul - my heart goes out to you, my friend. It is truly a shame that either team had to lose. :o:o:o

I remember thinking with a few minutes to go that we were outplayed by Notre Dame during the second half and was preparing my congratulations words (in my head) to an avid Irish fan. ;):)

I also remember thinking that my TC Barlow was safe, since all the entries had Kentucky in the Final Four. Always something to worry about in these contests. :o

BOTH of these teams proved that they had grit and determination, and showed great class. I think that is a positive that all of us can take from that clean contest. ;)

The Irish should indeed hold their heads very high. They are the best TEAM and sportsmen that we have played this year.

The Cats are very very fortunate to be on the way to the Final Four !

Wisconsin can't be better than the Irish - right ???:confused::o:o:o If they are, not sure I should watch ! :o

March Madness at its very best here! Wonderful game that you are right to bad one team had to lose. Kentucky was elated ND was inches away from a gigantic win at the buzzer. Reminds me of the 1991 UNLV loss to Duke when Anderson Hunt went for the the three point shot to win in the semis otherwise might have been a chance for back to back National Championships and to remain undefeated in the process. Congratulations Primble condolences Paul. You two are still at the top of the rankings on BF!

Go Cat's! :D

Villanova has a shot at Kentucky, but it will not beat the Cats.

Go MSU!

My word is Gold Roberto! ;):D

I'm from Michigan! We are TOUGH!!:D

Go Green! :D

Go Irish!

Primble my friend, my bracket is looking good! :D I would like the Copperhead instead of the Wood TC! :D

:eek::eek::eek:

The question is "Who is Mark REALLY for" ???:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Still time to get in on the S&M knife GAW. There is another knife being added to the GAW soon. ;):)

Wisconsin ruled me out...yet actually I entered only for the Kentucky Shiner :p
I hope to see the Kentucky-Notre Dame game online tonight, or at least some highlights.
Hard to watch NCAA here, but it's always enjoyable. Long ago, I had a hard time understanding why so many people watch NCAA basketball just as much as NBA, but time taught me better :)

LOL Primble!!

That made me shoot coffee through my nose! :D

Being the Good Sportsman that I am, I want everybody's team to win! :D

Since my Wolverines are not in the running :grumpy: I am rooting for the Spartans! Go Green! :D

Could not find your entry or prediction.:confused::confused::o

Final Four entries expired Thursday at noon for the TC Barlow. Good luck to those who entered.

Entries for all other knives remains available. ;):)

OK, I'd better throw my hat into the ring for that TC. Wisconsin, Kentucky, Michigan State, Gonzaga. Due to a technical foul called on Primble , with 0.3 seconds remaining, Wisconsin makes 2 free throws, and eeks past highly talented Kentucky 73-71, thus avenging the pain of last years final four loss by 1 point. Wisconsin goes on to beat Michigan State in the championship, whilst Primble re-oils his knives, thus preventing rust damage (from the salty tears :(). Primble watches an old tape of Adolph Rupp leading the 'Cats to a championship in his trusty VCR. A shaky, but recovered and "already looking forward to next year" Primble, musters the courage to pack up his trusty TC and ship it northward. At least that's the way it's all playing out in my head this morning.:D

Final Four:

Kentucky
Wisconsin
Michigan State
Duke

Final game - Michigan State 69 Kentucky 64

The field of entries that remain in contention has narrowed again. Only two left standing - for now ! I will update the contenders again through the weekend. ;):D

Clean up the coffee spills Marko - don't want to stain that MSU shirt, my friend ! or was that an Irish shirt .... or maybe a Cats shirt ...... or Wolverines ???:confused::D:D:D

Hey - I bet it is really a "I still LOVE Christian Laettner" Duke shirt - that must be it ! :grumpy::D:D:D

...Might have something to do with my "scare" last night. :o

...
(And even if Purdue doesn't take down the 'Cats, there are a number of teams from the basketball hotbed state of Indiana that have the potential to meet and defeat Kentucky: Valparaiso in the second round, or Butler, IU, or ND in the regional finals. Hoosier Daddy, Kentucky??)

Due to flu and busyness at work, I actually haven't watched any games this March; now THAT'S madness.:(:eek: But my prediction was looking pretty good for quite a while last night, I hear! ;) Of course, I've learned the true secret of prophecy: predict enough stuff, and some is almost certain to come true! :D

I'm usually not a Notre Dame fan, but I was certainly rooting for the Irish yesterday. I really don't want to see UK go undefeated because it violates the part of my philosophy of life that says, "Nobody's perfect." I can use this to console/forgive those who "slip up" and it's definitely a favorite excuse of mine when I screw up. :p But I can just envision me doing something that doesn't meet with my wife's approval, and me trying to use the excuse "Nobody's perfect" and her responding, "2014-15 UK men's basketball is!" :(:(

So, Paul, you certainly have my condolences over your team bowing out, but you also have my congratulations over how valiantly they played!:thumbup::thumbup: And, Mark, as a Michigan resident, I'm right with you: Go Spartans!! (And go Badgers! What the heck, Go Big Ten - even if there are 14 teams in the conference )

Good enough reason GT. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I already know that we have some outside support from the SEC. ;):D

My favorite post so far - post # 150 ! :D:D:D
