Pro-Tech knives what say you?

I've had a Stinger (CA-legal) for several years. Nothing bad to say about them at all. I don't have much interest in autos. If I did, I wouldn't hesitate to order another Protech.

I've had a Godfather going about 10years now. Still the hardest flipping auto i have and still going strong. Really gotta make sure you have a good hold of it before deploying or it'll jump out of your hand (a good thing). Push button lock is very strong. Just a well executed knife with very tight tolerances. Can't go wrong. Go for it!

I don't do a lot with autos, but I've had a Protech Emerson for a while now and it's been a fine knife. Excellent F&F, very fast firing, solid lockup, easy blade to maintain. If I get another auto, it'll probably be another Protech.

I've owned several and they have all been excellent. There is no better bang for the buck in autos, and that comes from a huge MT fan.

Best autos you'll find in the industry. Awesome folks there.

I agree!
Protech makes some of the finest auto's in the industry. I own several- I've never had an issue with any, & the fit & finish on their knives, is unsurpassed.

I wish that CA would legalize autos like some other states are doing. There are some more, larger Pro-Techs I'd like to have, but won't bother because they're illegal to carry. Jim

This is one of the reason's why, I own/occasionally carry my Protech's, in the State of California. Our laws are ridiculous & infringe on the law abiding member's of society...besides, life is just too darn short to follow every rule all these idiot legislator's make. Never been searched, or arrested in my life, so I'll keep rolling those dice.

I've seen about 10 banged up and abused by different people. For being autos, they're surprisingly sturdy. I've not seen one that unduly failed or developed lock rock or blade play. I've seen some (2) blades snap due to idiotic use like prying kick panels and air bag covers. It wasn't light prying either. The guys were used to cheap ass knives with ridiculously thick blades. Very good knives, especially for being an auto. The only other autos I've messed with were Benchmades and the Benchmades had less than nothing on the pro-tech knives. No contest.

I collect a lot of knives. As far as Auto's go you would be hard pressed to find more value for your money. Dave is a great guy and his knives are built well. His warranty is top notch. I hold his products to be some of the best. Here are just a few of many I have:

Beautiful knives!!

Yep, if I ever buy another auto, it will be another Pro-Tech. Period. IMO, the best autos in the world.

great stuff.

Strong snap, sharp out of the box, good fit & finish.

I personally like the Newport Model

Pro-Tech makes a great knife, I am quite fond of mine, fires hard.
