Fishiker and I agreed to a trade, my Spyderco Military for his Izula 2 and $ 30.00, we pay our own shipping. Because of my lack of feedback, we agreed that I send him the Mili after I receive the Money Order, but I did not wait to receive the M.O. and instead shipped the Military Jan. 7, 2013 and he received it Jan. 9, 2013, he also shipped the M.O. Jan 7, 2013 and I received it Jan. 11, 2013. Per our email conversation on Jan 10, he said he was satisfied with the Mili and it was exactly how I described it and that he will send the Izula 2, this is what he said

"I had to work an extra shift today so I had a friend ship the Izula. It was sent priority with delivery confirmation. I will send you the tracking number tomorrow morning."

Thanks,

Will

I got the tracking number and was really looking forward to receiving the Izula 2. Yesterday, Jan. 14, 2013, I received several packages from online sellers whom I bought items with, a Benchmark Backpacker and Tenacious from a seller on eBay, a Schrade Mini-Hunter from Amazon, retractable Baton from a seller here on Blade Forums, and a package from Fishiker. I decided against opening the package from Fishiker because something felt wrong, the box was too light to contain something, much more like a knife as the Izula. I even gone back to our Mail carrier who was still busy loading off the mails and asked her if that was the right package for me because it was too light, she said I can bring it to the Post Office to have it weighed, I decided not to because I have a weighing scale of my own. Back at the apartment I decided to open up the box but not without doing a video recording of me opening, yes, I made a video and I will post it to show everyone here on Blade Forums that I am telling the truth. What I received was a "
Small USPS Priority Box with 2 Plastic Bags and ESEE instructions and survival business card."

I emailed Fishiker about the issue, even ask him if it was a joke.
I then asked him again to resolve the problem either by

1. sending the Izula 2,
2. sending me back the Military
3. sending me additional money to purchase an Izula 2

His answer was, "The knife was on (in) the box when mailed. Return the money order and I will return the Spyderco, with insurance." So I said, "Return the Spyderco then I will mail you the money. I shipped the Spyderco to you with trust. I received a box with nothing in it, how can I be sure that I will get the Spyderco after I send you the money?"

Up to this writing, I am still unsure if Fishiker did it on purpose or if he too is a victim here, maybe the other guy who was supposed to ship the Izula 2 got tempted and took it for himself or what ever. I have traded/bought/sold high end phones at XDA Forum and have 64 positive feedbacks there, yes you can check me out there with username "eowyn".

I only got into the hobby of collecting knives last November of 2012, and I enjoy it a lot even though I don't really put them into actual use. I just love playing with them, and then I found Blades Forums and decided on trading what I have for other kind of knives. I have two other trades that went smooth and should I say successful because both parties were satisfied for what we got, except this one with "Fishiker"

What ever the case is, I am posting this to call out on Fishiker to do the right thing. Complete the trade or return my Spyderco Military. Consider this a reference for future transaction knife lovers.

Also, I would like to request Fishiker to post a picture of the receipt from the Post Office so we will know the time, date of the transaction and the total weight of the package when received in the Post Office.

eowyn873 and I did a trade and everything went great. He even took a pic of the confirmation slip. He was and has been in constant contact. I hope this gets settled.

Maybe the seller's friend is not truly a friend and now has a new knife...............................??

Similar thing happened on another thread. What's with these guys who claim to have shipped the knife and then try to put the blame on somebody else when the recipient doesn't receive it?

Why not bite the bullet, reship the correct knife or refund the money.

Two reasons to do this:
1. Save your reputation
2. Clear your conscience.

I'd hate to think that the selling threads here on Bladeforums are becoming vehicles for thieves.

Has Fishiker been made aware of this thread?

Fishiker is as solid as they come in my opinion and I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again. I'd find it hard to believe that whatever happened was purposeful.

Like what I've said, I made a video recording of me unboxing the package, I can upload the video anytime. Just let me know. That is why I sent the Military without even receiving the Money Order yet, because of his solid feedback. And for update, I received an email from him. He just shipped the Military back with signature confirmation, two postal clerks witnessed the knife being packaged, extra tape was added to be certain it could not "fall out" in the same manner the Izula did? QUestion is, how could an Izula "fall out" in a sealed Small Priority Flat Rate Box?

I will make a video recording again of me unboxing the package once I receive to make sure everything is transparent, I will try to catch the Mail Carrier while unloading the mails from her truck. Meanwhile some pictures of what I received.

I don't know what happened and I didn't even hint at you presenting a falsehood. No need to get defensive.

Fishiker has been nothing but solid in his dealings as far as I know though, so it's extremely preemptive for anyone to assume that he's trying to purposely scam someone over a $50 knife.

I am not being defensive dear Moderator, I am just stating facts based on my own experience from the transaction, I did not say that he is purposely scamming me, did I? I may be new to BF but not into trading/selling/buying stuffs. I've been a member in good standing at XDA Developers and have 64 solid positive feedbacks from selling/buying/trading high end cellular phones and tablets, too bad the Market Place was shut down because of increasing scamming schemes. Here is a link for everyone who wants to check http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=3526192 . I am also a registered member/user at Cell Trader Online and I am pretty sure the people there can and will vouch for me as most of them also are from XDA Developers. Moderators do not take sides, they "Moderate" and try to fix whatever the problem is/are.

A) I'm not a moderator of this forum (thank goodness).

B) My initial response was based on this:
Up to this writing, I am still unsure if Fishiker did it on purpose or if he too is a victim here
and the post immediately preceding my first in this thread. The second was to your post above it, which did seem rather accusatory IMO.

C) Deep breaths.

I sent him an email informing him about this thread.

How can it be accusatory when I said "I am still unsure if he did it on purpose" and added "or if he too is a victim her" if I am accusing him of scamming me I should have entitled the thread as "Scammer Alert" "Scammed by" but instead I entitled the thread "Problem with a trade with Fishiker" or would just simply say "Fishiker purposely sent me 2 plastic bags, Izula manuals and Survival Business Cards", that is accusatory.

Also I am requesting Fishiker to post a copy of the receipt of the transaction from the Post Office where the package was brought for shipping like the one posted below. The receipt will show the time, date, place of the transaction and exactly how much the package weighs when it was received for shipping. The box wighs 2.8 oz when I received it. Only then we will know who speaks the truth and trace where the problem occurred. Also, not because I or any other memeber/user of this forum that have less feedback it would mean that we are less reliable than those who have more feedback. And it is not about the money or worth of the object, it is about trust and honor.

I was raised to always do what is right and be a man of my word. I have tried to do this all of my life and never tried to take advantage of anyone on this forum. I was suspicious of how anxious eowyn873 was to make this trade after a few emails but decided to give him a chance to prove my "gut feelings" wrong. I thought it was very unusual that he tried to have me ship first since he had no feedback. After I told him there was no way that would happen he responded with different terms. The Izula was in the box when I sealed it shut. The friend who has been questioned is my fiance and she has plenty of knives of her own. I thought it was very unusual of someone to video themselves opening a box because it felt light. I also thought several emails I received were insulting but I have never responded in a similar fashion. Regardless of the circumstances I did ship the other knife in question to eowyn873 yesterday. Two postal clerks witnessed me putting the knife in the box and even offered to add extra tape after hearing what happened. I have copies of all email sent to and received from eowyn873 along with receipts from the post office. I did send him and email yesterday telling him that the package was mailed and gave him the signature confirmation number.

I appreciate the emails from many of you. Although know we may never meet face to face I consider you close friends and you make me proud to be a part of this forum.

I don`t usually post in these threads, but thought I would this time. I have had dealings with William (and his fiance) for many, many, years, and have always been totally satisfied, I trust what he says is true.

Post the picture of the receipt sir and you are free to post our email conversations. Please post the receipt from the post office.

Did the label on the box show the weight?

No it does not, only labels were of the amount of postage paid and delivery confirmation sticker, if we use Paypal labels the weight would appear there, but the Official Receipt of the transaction from the Post Office would show the original weight of the box when submitted for mailing, that is why I am challenging Fishiker to post the picture of the Official Receipt so we would know the weight of the package when it was submitted for mailing.
