My update:

I have been paid back 147.07, so he is still owing 2.93 + 12.27 shipping for my skyline as mentioned. I have tried to put an intercept on the knife package and the lady at the post office said they will return it to me however USPS website shows that it cannot be intercepted. This is not over for me just yet, but so far Ryan has been making the payments as agreed.

This is the question because if intent is as you say is so important and pertinent, it would be used indiscriminately and in each and every case, no? You sent an empty box. No one cares what words you put on the note.

The note could have said you were a Pretty Princess all in pink, who rides unicorns.

****** Your actions show your true intent. Your intent is crystal clear. You traded the same knife to two different people at the same time while still trying to sell it. During this same time, you sent an empty box to get a tracking number with movement so that the OP would send his $400 - $500 knife to you. Nothing you have said here has justified this in even the slightest way. At all.

Since the deals are more or less done (except a couple bucks), I say *SPLAT*!
I'm all for second chances, but not thirds.
 
I can assure you that I will not be spending any more money to support bladeforums if members like this are allowed to remain on the site. I thinks it's incredible that he hasn't been banned already.

Everyone needs to just take a deep breath, take one giant step backwards, and unless you are affected by the goings on here, no need to pile on more random commentary and thoughts. We have 17 pages worth already in case anyone has lost track, and the thread was already closed once. When those actually involved get more information, let us know and we can reconvene.

Nice to see you condone this behavior with comments like that. Read previous posts from other members and you will see others feel the same way. Why not be constructive about this instead of using sarcasm? There is a new problem almost every other day here with buyers or sellers.... time to fix the issues!

Out of respect to our Mods (who do a great job) I've stayed quiet for the last week or so.

A couple of things are really nagging at me though:
* Is he really paying these guys back in installments? I mean, we are talking about $150, right? Who needs an easy payment plan for $150?
* He still either doesn't get what he did wrong or, more likely, is pretending not to. How does he not get its hopeless? Claiming that intent is the same as action is so hopelessly stupid that I am having a hard time even describing it.

Honestly, this guy is likely 11 years old, a meth/crack addict, or somehow mentally disturbed. My guess is some mix of all three.

The easy thing for him unfortunately.
He will sneak back in some way shape or form..

Correct, he has made 6 payments to me with the most recent 2 being for $7.72 and $2.60. He is still owing of $12.60 + my skyline if it cannot get intercepted.

I am just stating the facts.
